I’ve never been to a restaurant that missed the mark on EVERY SINGLE ITEM we ordered. The Dr Pepper was simply carbonated water, the fries were cold and unsalted, the burger was bland, the chicken tenders were very tiny and the new red velvet Oreo milkshake was made with spoiled milk. I wanted to bring steak and shake back into my life, but I’m not so sure I’ll ever come back.

The food is good, the fries are fantastic!! But... I was a bit put off by having to place my own order at the kiosk, and was asked if we wanted to tip. Seriously?! Not only did we place our own order, we got to pick up own order up from the counter and we got to bus our own table. I'm glad I didn't tip.

The place has converted to robots! There is no such thing as service in this place! Stopped in for lunch at 12:00 couldn't imagine why the place was empty then I found out I have to order my food from a robot and sit and wait for it. I don't imagine they will be around much longer.

Donna and the rest of the staff...from the cooks to the manager all the way to the new kid in training were impeccable!! Super clean inside!! Donna was so very welcoming and I loved the attitude of the staff!! They at least seemed like they enjoyed working there compared to other fast food places!! I remember now why I like coming to Steak n Shake. Haven't been here in a while! Thanks for the wonderful experience and keep up the good work!! Just try to get my name right next time when yelling it out. Lol.

They fired all of their servers to put up four kiosks, half of which don't even work. After ordering on a kiosk, I get asked if I want to tip. Rediculous. The soda machines require a QR code to function, if you get water or if something is out on the machine you lose that soda dispense. You have to use your one free refill you get to get something else. Why not just use normal soda machines like everyone else if you're going to be this cheap already? Food came out completely wrong. Went back, took forever for them to fix it. They didn't fix it, my mother's burger still had cheese on it despite trying to explain to them they didn't want cheese. I had to get my drink refilled by a staff member, due to the afformentioned problems with their scummy QR scanner soda fountain, in the back who literally dragged his feet the entire time and gave me the nastiest look for daring to ask for some soda.
This place used to be good. It's unironic trash now, no wonder it seems to be empty during peak lunch hours.
Just used drive through! Can't beat their shakes or price!

I mean it's good for fast food. Just wish they would pay better attention to the order and get rid of that awful machine that you have to scan in order to get a drink (dine in only) half the time it takes me like 8 minutes to get the damn thing to scan.
