Perfect place for a night. My boyfriend and I had so much fun playing connect four, drinking good beer and eating a soft pretzel! The owner is fantastic and gave us tons of recommendations in town, but honestly this was our favorite spot during our east coast visit!!

Who gets the treat to be served by Charles Dickens on Christmas Eve??!! We did! He goes by Chip, is one of the most interesting people we’ve ever met. We were having the Christmas blues but Annie and Chip made our day delightful. My husband LOVES German beer(he got a fabulous flight of beers)and food… he says that it’s the best German restaurants he’s ever been to in the USA. I thought I would not enjoy it because I’m I don’t eat meat or drink beer, but I loved my food and time here. It’s a destination place…really!!

Vegetarian options: I decided to get 2 appetizers that were delicious and so plentiful that I couldn’t finish. The pretzel was super fresh and large with 3 mustard and dipping options!! Then had the Brie and bruschetta with delicious berries which was awesome

Kid-friendliness: We don’t have kids but there were kids there when we dined there…they seemed happy

Parking: Plenty of parking

Wheelchair accessibility: We didn’t need to use this but noticed that it was easily available

Dietary restrictions: My husband loves anything with meat but I’m pescatarian. Lots of options for me. Also, I do t drink alcohol but Annie created a fun and delicious drink for me.

We got seated at 7:PM on a Saturday Night. 12/10/22. Decent Menu. Place was not crowded at all. It took ONE HOUR for the 5 of us to get our food. When our food did arrive, 3 wait Staff were arguing right in front of us as to who was suppose to bring out our food. One of our orders was completely wrong and server did not offer to correct it. After waiting One hour , we really didn't want to wait another hour. The Jagerschnitzel with mushroom gravy and spaetzle was good. . Would order again but don't think I'll be back because of the poor service. Never did ask us if we wanted to order more drinks. never came back to table except to bring our checks.

Best German food. I got the Shweinishaxe. Best flavored pork shank I’ve ever tasted. Also listening to live music by My Remedy, awesome band.

We had dinner here on Friday night and really enjoyed the delicious food, interesting cocktails (we took a picture of the drink menu to try to replicate a few at home) and the 80's DJ. I would definitely come back if in the area again.

Food was awesome! Definitely get the pretzel! I had the meatloaf and my partner had the schnitzel. Kim was a phenomenal server and her suggestions were spot on. We will be back.

I went there with family and friends for my birthday dinner and everything was absolutely fantastic. We had a party of 11 and the waitress didn’t skip a beat. We didn’t have to wait for anything. I recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice German meal out with friends, family or even alone.

Fun place, great location. Had the kartoffelpuffer (excellent) and shared the Jägerschnitzel and the zigeuner Schnitzel… the schnitzel was some of the best, the Jäger sauce was not brown as I’m used too but still tasty and their zigeuner was very good… nice selection of German Bier on tap and our server was great.

Came in here on a Tuesday for lunch, with our Golden Retriever. The place is very Festive and Classic German Biergarten! Love all the Old World Decor! The beer selection was great, and served in frosted glass steins. My husband had the meatloaf and potato salad and red cabbage, and he said it was Fantastic! I had the pork schnitzel and spatzel and it was Awesome!! There must be Germans in the kitchen!! Great place to bring your pet! Would Love to come back for the oompah band! Dunke Schoen!

Fun place for schnitzel and drinks. Enjoyed the Ziguener schnitzel and spaetzle. It was cooked just right and I enjoyed the slight sweet and sour quality of the sauce. The drinks were reasonably strong and fairly priced. I had a Mai tai and a flight of sangrias (berry, melon, apple... the melon was the best) approx 6-8 oz each for $12. My daughter had the mead flight (not on the menu, with similar quantities and price). The atmosphere was fun. Although it is in an indoor air-conditioned alley between shops, they have made it feel like outside with astroturf, picnic tables, string lights, etc. Plenty of games including corn hole, Connect 4, and Jenga were at several tables. Kept the kids around us busy and allowed us to enjoy visiting for a bit.Price/value and ambience are the strong pros to dining here. Definitely will return.

Started with half-liters of beer that were flat, but the server happily exchanged them for us. My sauerbraten was very good, but the serving was very small. For $24 I think there should have been a more generous helping. The spaetzle was creamy, which was unusual in my experience but fresh and good, and the red cabbage is definitely homemade, not like the jarred commercial variety. My wife wasn't so lucky. Wiener schnitzel should be veal, not pork, and the pork used in her order was definitely not the tenderloin as described on the menu, and appeared deep-fried and overdone rather than sauteed. She had to leave most of it uneaten (see picture). The ambiance is nice and the room is large and uncrowded. We're hoping her experience was a one-off and we'll probably try it again. Having been to Germany and having enjoyed the food there, we hope we can adopt this restaurant as a repeat dining destination.

Really fun place to eat and drink. Excellent German food, good beer selection, and a really cool atmosphere. Kendra at the bar is amazing! Prost!!

Horrible management! 6:30 on a Friday evening - no bread, no bar garnishes, took 32 minutes after seating before the first employee approached. Very nice server (Chrissy), but new and didn't know either the food or bar menu. Got the wrong meal (finally), complained, but management said what I received was "about the same value" and then charged the extra $4 in "value" anyway. Roaches across the feet was the final straw!! Save your money - tell your friends!

When they ask if you want to sit outside they actually mean an indoor space between the restaurant and the axe throwing place with fake grass. I would suggest eating inside. The Marzen Oktoberfest was great, good was good. No complaints and the area is super fun.
