Perfect place for a night. My boyfriend and I had so much fun playing connect four, drinking good beer and eating a soft pretzel! The owner is fantastic and gave us tons of recommendations in town, but honestly this was our favorite spot during our east coast visit!!

Who gets the treat to be served by Charles Dickens on Christmas Eve??!! We did! He goes by Chip, is one of the most interesting people we’ve ever met. We were having the Christmas blues but Annie and Chip made our day delightful. My husband LOVES German beer(he got a fabulous flight of beers)and food… he says that it’s the best German restaurants he’s ever been to in the USA. I thought I would not enjoy it because I’m I don’t eat meat or drink beer, but I loved my food and time here. It’s a destination place…really!!Vegetarian options: I decided to get 2 appetizers that were delicious and so plentiful that I couldn’t finish. The pretzel was super fresh and large with 3 mustard and dipping options!! Then had the Brie and bruschetta with delicious berries which was awesomeKid-friendliness: We don’t have kids but there were kids there when we dined there…they seemed happyParking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: We didn’t need to use this but noticed that it was easily availableDietary restrictions: My husband loves anything with meat but I’m pescatarian. Lots of options for me. Also, I do t drink alcohol but Annie created a fun and delicious drink for me.

Not good. We got the schnitzel, bratwurst, kids hot dog and kids cheeseburger. The bratwurst was ok. Everything else was terrible. Schnitzel was tasteless. Kids hot dog looked and tasted awful. I'm not sure what the hot dog was made out of. The beer was also flat. We tried two different kinds and both were flat.

We stopped by after visiting Ritch Grissom wetlands specifically in the mood for some German food. This place did not disappoint! It was very hard to choose, as I wanted to try so many things, but I know German roast pork is the best, so that's what I went with. Hazel, our server, was the best. So personable and attentive to all of us (at least six groups between tables and the bar) - which is impressive when you're alone! And the strudel at the end was really good too

Tried this place for the first time. Only one wait person working both outside and inside. Made service so slow we ended up leaving.

Went here for lunch while in town for a mini vacation. Showed up around 11am as we wanted an early lunch and the website stated they open at 11. The manager popped out as he saw us standing out front and he told us that they weren't opening till noon on this day. We came back at 12:15, sat at a table inside near the bar; there were 5 other tables with patrons as well. Ordered 2 Hofbrau Hefe Weizen off the bat. Waitress had to circle back to tell us and one other table that they were out of the Hefe Weizen. We then ordered the Kartoffelpuffer (potato pancakes) as an appetizer but waitress said they "might" be out of that too but sometimes her handheld device doesnt report that correctly so she'd let us know. We also ordered our lunches - the lunch version of the weinerschnitzel with potato salad & jagerschnitzel with spaetzle. Food took a long time to come out and the waitress brought the jagerschnitzle to the wrong table. Manager brought out the weinerschnitzel separate and we pointed out that the jagerschnitzle was supposed to come with spaetzle. He said "uhhh i think so. let me check. thanks for reminding me" and returned with it. Lunches were okay. Had to request more lemon to add some addl flavor to the weinerschnitzel. Then came time to pay. Waitress used the handheld device to tell us our total. I asked if the potato pancakes were on there that we never received. She said "oh, we WERE out. I forgot to tell you." After our cards were swiped,i also asked to be sure we were charged the lunch price for our meals, as indicated. She said yes but I looked at printed receipt and we werent. So she said she would fix it and refund us the difference. She had to locate the manager to do so. They worked on it together for about 15 min. Manager finally came over and said he had to refund the whole transactions and re run them. Disappointing experience in many aspects.

Pleasant and delicious! Glad we finally tried this place! Tucked away in downtown Melbourne, the ambiance is cozy, and the service is friendly. The meat? Fall off the bone. Cheers!

We got seated at 7:PM on a Saturday Night. 12/10/22. Decent Menu. Place was not crowded at all. It took ONE HOUR for the 5 of us to get our food. When our food did arrive, 3 wait Staff were arguing right in front of us as to who was suppose to bring out our food. One of our orders was completely wrong and server did not offer to correct it. After waiting One hour , we really didn't want to wait another hour. The Jagerschnitzel with mushroom gravy and spaetzle was good. . Would order again but don't think I'll be back because of the poor service. Never did ask us if we wanted to order more drinks. never came back to table except to bring our checks.

Best German food. I got the Shweinishaxe. Best flavored pork shank I’ve ever tasted. Also listening to live music by My Remedy, awesome band.

I really had high hopes when I found Melbourne Biergarten browsing restaurants. When we arrived we were seated right away in a swanky looking "bar mall" and our waitress greeted us right away. We ordered the brat with curry ketchup and a kid's hotdog. The brat was good, but the curry ketchup didn't provide that much flavor. The hotdog my kid ordered was brown on the outside and bright red on the inside, so we didn't let her eat it; I did taste it and it was very old. I got a big 32oz marzen beer that was good, but the food just lacked badly. Our server was very friendly and did a good job waiting on us.

We had dinner here on Friday night and really enjoyed the delicious food, interesting cocktails (we took a picture of the drink menu to try to replicate a few at home) and the 80's DJ. I would definitely come back if in the area again.

We went here for the first time last Friday. Excited to find a German Restaurant with a decent looking menu. My wife had the sauerbraten and I had beef rouladan. We have eaten German food all of our lives and have never seen sauerbraten served in big chunks of beef, not thinly sliced. It was hardly marinated and very tough. The rouladen was dry and had no gravy. The spaetzli was not prepared properly--way too starchy. The red cabbage was the only item worth eating. We will never go there again. If you are looking for real German food, this is definitely not the place.

This is my first time in Melbourne Fl to eat at this place. I ordered the Schweinshaxe a slow roasted pork shank. Talk about being great. One of the best meals I have ever eaten. I loved the red cabbage that it came with. I met one of the owners last night also and he was kind enough to give me a sample of one of his beers on his list. Me and my friend was really happy when we left and we had plenty to take back to have another meal with our left overs. Only complaint i had was the band there last night. It was loud and I didnt like what they were playing. Other than that. That meal made my night

Food was awesome! Definitely get the pretzel! I had the meatloaf and my partner had the schnitzel. Kim was a phenomenal server and her suggestions were spot on. We will be back.
