We had a wonderful experience at Collins during our stay at Loews Miami Beach, thanks to Sherri.
He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. We enjoyed his service so much that we came back the next day for lunch. Even though he wasn’t our server that day, he remembered us, came over to say hello, and wished my sister-in-law a happy birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to us.
Thank you, Sherri, for your outstanding hospitality. You made our visit even more special!

Great food, great service and a great place to watch the World Cup!!!! Rocio was exceptional… rarely do I see management at this level!!! I stayed at this hotel as well in one of their apartment suites and while there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in Miami Beach, I found myself gravitating here every day. Cool place with some nice amenities and features with anything that you order
Tuna tartar and salmon is amazing. But everything else was okay. Brussels sprouts was too tooo tooo sweet. They remade it but still pretty sweet. The manager was good but somehow our server was hesitant to take feedback. Also he dint even approach our table for 30mins and we finally had to ask for someone.

Excellent food. We grabbed dinner right after checking in at the Loews. We sat in the outdoor patio at the bar. Our waiter/bartender was very friendly & knowledgeable about the menu. He gave good recommendations.
I got the lobster pasta. It had a decent amount of meat & the housemate pasta was delicious. My boyfriend got the steak frites which he thought was just ok though. For dessert, I got the rum cake. Presentation was beautiful & it tasted as good as it looked.
During our stay at the Loews we frequented the bar often for drinks or meals. It was always very lively in the indoor bar area, likely because there was a conference going on during our stay.
I'm always happy when the in house restaurants are good so you don't have to venture far to eat.
Excellent choice for Lowes guests and anyone walking by Lowes. Some staff way better than others. PRO TIP... Dont order junk at pool. Walk up 20 ft and eat your lunch at better kitchen.

They asked for a credit card before we could even place a food order. In a high end hotel environment like the Loews, this feels unnecessarily defensive and transactional. It effectively treats every guest like a dine and dash suspect before they’ve even seen a menu.
How much loss prevention can really justify putting the majority of your customers in doubt? It kills the upscale atmosphere immediately.
The food itself is good but that initial interaction really soured the experience. Good food, questionable hospitality.

I came in on Tuesday and my meal was absolutely phenomenal, the kitchen was timely, and the service was absolutely incredible. Abby was extremely knowledgeable, incredibly friendly, my entire family was blown away with her service. She served us twice that day and was incredible. She recommended us the steak and it was perfect, she made sure to strictly adhere to our dietary restriction. I have been in Miami many times and never received such comprehensive service.

My recent experience at Bistro Collins was extremely disappointing.
I visited the bar with a group of six friends after the Food and Wine Festival. The bar was not overly busy, and there were several open tables available. Despite this, after being seated, it took approximately 20 minutes for our waiter to approach us, introduce himself, provide water, and take our drink orders. Once the order was placed, it took an additional 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive.
After delivering the drinks, the waiter walked away and never returned to check on our table. We had to go to the bar ourselves to get napkins and straws. When I addressed the slow and inadequate service, his response was simply that “sometimes it’s like that.” There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, and no attempt to resolve the situation.
At that point, I requested to be cashed out so we could leave and go somewhere that offered better service.
I have typically enjoyed coming to Bistro Collins for drinks, but based on this experience, I am reconsidering returning in the future.
