We had a great experience! The food and service were really good! We tried their branzino and it was delicious! We will be back!
Very slow and inattentive service. We waited for 15 minutes just to get water. Food came out incomplete and had to continually ask wait staff member(s) for orders that were not delivered. Disappointed.
Great restaurant with a beautiful waterfront view. The only downsides are the prices (especially all cocktails $20+) and the wait time for a table (even with reservation). Perfect spot for a casual dinner if you're not in a rush
We went on Valentine's Day night so we know it was going to be a busy night. But, we weren't expecting it to be that slow. We arrived before 8pm (reservation time) so we would have time to get our table and so that the staff would have enough time as well. Once we sat down, a server came to get our drinks order and then nothing for 30min, while a table that got sat 20min after us, got their food ordered (same for different tables around us). Same thing for the couple next to us. Once I asked someone about it, both us, and the other couple got our order taken. We had to wait another 45 min for the food to arrive, that honestly could've been a better taste for having to wait 1h15min to get it. Nothing has been done by the staff to at least offer us a coffee for the end of the meal to excuse themselves for that long of a wait. I wanted to try this place at least once to hopefully liking it and come back, but I got really disappointed.
My wife and I had a great Valentine's dinner with nice atmosphere, great food and attentive service.
Beautiful spot and delicious food. Price a little bit high and 20% service included but it's worth it!
Great atmosphere! Don't forget to take advantage of the free water taxi to get you there and back to the mainland! It was perfect! Grilled lobster was fab along with Happy Hour 4-6
Perfect spot to take a break in the middle of a walk along the Venetian Way. The place is so relaxing and picturesque. The girls took great care of us and gave us their recommendations. I’ll definitely come more often! And be careful with the bay-related comments — they don’t refer to the café, they belong to the restaurant.

We went out to celebrate our anniversary at a place we usually love and visit often. Unfortunately, this time my wife and I were not completely satisfied. The restaurant is still beautiful, with an amazing view. The food was very good overall, except for the ceviche, which was the only dish that didn't meet our expectations. Prices are high, but generally worth it for the quality. The main disappointment was the service: blunt, slow, and not very welcoming, especially considering that a 20% service charge is already included. That said, we would like to give special credit to the hostess, who was kind and helpful in getting us a sunny table after we left a cash tip. We truly appreciated her gesture. Overall, it's still a place we enjoy, but this experience fell short compared to our previous visits.
Plastic plastic plastic - don’t we at least deserve a ceramic mug and a glass made out of glass with our 10 dollar bottle of water?

Had such a great time here with Luki! The place has an amazing vibe, super cozy, stylish, and perfect for hanging out.
The Standard Cafe is such a gem. The vibe is always welcoming, the coffee is consistently great, and the attention to detail really shows. Huge shoutout to Aaron he’s amazing at what he does and truly elevates the experience every time. He makes the best perky drink I’ve ever had, hands down. You can tell he genuinely cares about the craft and the people he’s serving. This place keeps me coming back again and again.

Hi, I am writing to express how deeply disappointed we were with our recent experience at Lido. We've been loyal guests for years, and what we encountered on this visit was frankly shocking. The new menu is not just underwhelming — it is bad. We ordered two appetizers, the beet with oranges and the prosciutto with figs, and both plates looked like something you'd pick up at an airport lounge. No care, no presentation, nothing prepared with the freshness or finesse we've always expected. It felt rushed, careless, and far below the standard Lido used to uphold. Then came the entrées: the chicken and the shrimp with polenta. The chicken was so overcooked it tasted reheated, dry, and borderline inedible. The shrimp dish was equally disappointing — one overcooked shrimp in a mass of polenta, lacking seasoning, life, or any sense of intention behind it. For the prices you charge, I expect food that is thoughtfully prepared, properly cooked, and beautifully presented — not something reheated and thrown together. This is not just a slip; it reflects a complete decline in quality. The only thing that went well is our server was nice and helpful. It's disheartening to see Hyatt running the Miami Beach experience into the ground like this. The Standard is no longer a neighborhood gem. We walked in excited, but left sincerely disappointed. Unfortunately, after this visit, you've lost a loyal client.
