I was so excited to see an Italian coffee shop in the town but I am disappointed. My friends and I ordered three hot coffees. They served three of them with cold milk. I expected my coffee to taste and smell like in Italy but unfortunately did not:( The people working there were nice tho! Also nice place with in and outside options to sit

I love Caffe Umbria for its design and unique menu! Today I visited it and drank Oat Meal Latte. It reminded me of great spring time I spent in Portland, Oregon where I tried this coffee for the first time. Thank you

The price on their live menu is lower than the price I was charged. I was billed 6.25 for a drink that is listed for 6. This was all before tax. Negligence or not, it’s against the law. I’m not sure how much I’ve been upcharged versus the listed prices every time I go.

Went to this coffee shop hoping for a quick caffeine fix, but no luck. The cashier was chatting away non-stop. I stood there forever trying to order, but never got a word in. Left empty-handed. One star. 🫩

It’s funny—this is a coffee place, but every time I go, the flat white is different. Today it was so hot that I burned my tongue, and this isn’t the first time. Consistency is especially important for a flat white, where proper milk texture and careful steaming are key to preserving sweetness and balance. I ended up throwing it away. I’ll still keep coming back, but only to buy coffee beans for my machine at home.

I stumbled upon Umbria Cafe early in the morning during my run in South Beach after realizing I was out of coffee at home. Just a few blocks from my place, I found this cozy spot and ordered a single espresso. The gentleman asked if it was for here or to go. I said for here. To my surprise, the espresso was served in a proper porcelain cup with a small glass of sparkling water. I was shocked.

I have visited countless coffee shops across the U.S., including the so-called fancy ones like Starbucks, and none have ever served espresso the authentic Italian way with water on the side. That simple gesture instantly transported me back to Italy in Rome, Milan, or Florence, where espresso is treated like an art form.

The coffee itself was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The sparkling water added the perfect touch, refreshing and ideal for cleansing the palate after a delicious espresso. That moment alone earned this café five stars.

If you appreciate true coffee culture, Umbria Cafe is a gem worth visiting.
