I, my wife, and toddler recently had wonderful dinner here. My toddler had buttered noodles and eagerly ate the entirely plate of them, which is unusual for her. My wife and I were in good spirits thanks to even better wine. The octopus appetizer was well-prepared and had the perfect texture (not rubbery or chewy). My husband and I are visiting Miami for 3 days, and we had a wonderful dinner at Vita Osteria Italiana tonight. It was a rainy evening, so we were happy that the restaurant was just a quick walk from our hotel. All the food was delicious, and reminded us of our recent trip to Italy where we enjoyed outstanding food. Tonight we ate bread, fried calamari, gnocchi, risotto and panna cotta. Small but very nice and welcoming restaurant, as per the tradition of Italian taverns. The tuna used for the tartare was fresh, the fettuccine Bolognese well seasoned and well cooked, the tiramisu was also excellent. All the dishes were quite generous.
