Great food and terrible service. We were not seated for over 45 minutes after our reservation time, we were put in a very low desired location within the restaurants and we waited well over an hour for our meal to arrive from the time we ordered, and the staff seemed to not check in on us. Fortunately, the food was very good, but the experience was not meeting expectation and I would hesitate to come back based on this.

We recently dined here on a Sunday evening around 6:30 PM. The restaurant was moderately busy — not empty, but not fully packed either. Overall, the food was very good, and our waiter was attentive without being intrusive, which we truly appreciated. However, there were a couple of things that could use improvement. We were seated in a corner booth, and the tables next to us were empty. At one point, I asked my husband to sit next to me briefly so we could take a quick selfie — something that took less than two minutes. Out of nowhere, the hostess approached us in a chastising tone and told us we couldn't sit like that because the table was reserved. The interaction felt unnecessarily stern, especially considering the seats were empty at the time and remained empty for at least 45 minutes afterward. We tried to explain that it was only for a quick photo, but she did not acknowledge what we said. She delivered her message and walked away without any further response. The tone and manner of the interaction felt condescending and quite rude, which unfortunately left a negative impression. Additionally, when making the reservation, we were asked whether we were celebrating a special occasion, and we said yes. We were even asked about it again when we were seated. However, it was never mentioned afterward, and there was no acknowledgment during the meal. At a restaurant of this caliber, you would assume there is a purpose for noting special occasions during the reservation process, so that lack of follow-through was disappointing. Again, the food was good, and our server did a great job. With a bit more attention to hospitality and guest experience — especially in tone and follow-through on details — the overall experience could have been much better.

I have come to catch several times. It is now the 3rd time they have closed the rooftop seating with no notice. Once was a "elevator issue." The other times, no reason. I appears that they didn't want to run seating inside and upstairs/outside for staffing/margin reasons. I go to catch for the outside seating. I am not sure I will go again. The inside is too loud - the answer for turning the music down was that this was not possible, as the parent company has a "standard program" The food is consistently good and the service, is solid despite the contempory "assembly line" approach to fine dining

The buffet brunch wasn't that spectacular. Very limited variety. No DJ. Not that lively. Much better options in Miami for Sunday brunch elsewhere

What a terrific Valentines Day dinner! And the best bang for your buck in SoFi. I'm still thinking about it. Especially loved the Sea-bass.

Really bad experience here tonight, always start off my ordering a couple of starters we wanted 4 of them and then we wanted to order mains however our server said no we had to order everything together. My first drink was un-drinkable & the second had such a bad smell from the glass. Server was very very slow even thought it wasn't as busy as I thought it would be for a Friday night. When paying our bill server my husband said thank you have a good night & our server didn't say or anything! Food & drinks were bad also! Will not be returning!

Got there at 5:30pm basically had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Felt like a private experience! All the servers were so kind! The food was amazing like always! Thank you for making my birthday experience special.

I had previously been to the LA location but my boyfriend hadn't, so I took the opportunity to finally have him try the sushi I'd been raving about. I was pleasantly surprised, as the food was even better than I'd remember it being in LA. Nick was our server and he absolutely killed it. He was super attentive to our every need, making sure our food and drink orders were exactly what we'd expected. At the end of the night, as the restaurant was closing, he even helped us out with getting the perfect shot of us! I've been to my fair share of upscale restaurants in Miami, and it's pretty standard to expect bad service (nasty attitudes, absurd wait times, etc) but Nick changed that expectation for me. Will definitely be back soon.

I had an excellent dinner tonight. I catch with a couple of my friends. We loved the food. The food was excellent, so was the service. Laura took care of us. I will definitely return here as my favorite part of the dinner was the dessert.

Try the bar! While Catch is known for its awesome rooftop brunch, I’d be remiss if I didn’t share that the bar downstairs never disappoints. The drinks and food are some of the best in South Beach, but the unparalleled service of the bar team is amazing, especially Alberto.

I came with my 4 children ages 1,2,3,5, and though this is not a children's restaurant and my children definitely are not the most well behaved, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They give the best service to ALL of us with the utmost courtesy and care. The entire experience was stellar, but the entire team from the hostess to servers and even the management was absolutely incredible and accommodating to the extent that the evening was one of our most enjoyable dinners out when it could have certainly been one of the worst bc of my 4 wild children. Thank you to the entire staff for making this evening so wonderful and memorable for us in every way. ❤️
