Thali was not worth. Chana had too much salt & when I asked for replacement, I was politely informed that they receive the food “cooked” and only add spice! In other words the food is NOT freshly prepared!!

Great place to grab Indian food for lunch if you're going to the convention center. I had the deconstructed Aloo Chat which was amazing.

I’m a big kati roll fan, but had not found a place in Miami (discovered them and always have them in NY). This place has now given me the chance to enjoy them closer to home now! Food is great and so is service. Samosas were also right on point! The location at The Lincoln Eatery food hall makes for good atmosphere and options for everyone. Definitely coming back to Chotu.

Terrible Service and Food!

I had an awful experience at Chotu Restaurant. The service was incredibly poor—our server was rude and inattentive, treating us like we didn’t matter. The food was even worse! It was cold, tasteless(Paneer tikka taste like rubber in ketchup, Dal was just like turmeric water)and definitely not worth the price(22 USD for Thali which is not even worth for 10 USD). To top it off, we were made to feel like a nuisance just for being there. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience. Total disappointment.

Reply for your Response;

Wow….
It’s surprising to see a business respond to customer feedback with such hostility.
If the food was so bad that I had to tell someone before finishing, it speaks more to the quality of the dish than my “etiquette.” You should be happy customers even try to finish it.
Regarding prices: customers have every right to expect value for their money. If the experience doesn’t match the price, that’s a valid concern. Telling people to “eat at home” isn’t exactly how you keep a business running.
Finally, if you think negative reviews won’t impact your business, that’s your choice. But alienating customers with rude responses like this one isn’t going to do you any favors. I guess I’ll take your advice and make sure not to visit your restaurant again.

Good luck with that attitude.

I recently dined at Chotu Indian Street Food, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Here are the key issues I encountered:

Low-Quality Food: When we ordered Roti, they served us Chapathi instead. To make it worse, these were clearly store-bought Chapathis (the kind you get 3 for $1) that were just reheated.

Quantity vs. Price: The quantity of the curries was abysmal. For $12 each, we got barely any food. I’ve never seen such small portions for that price before.

Overpriced Items: One Naan costs $5 here, whereas it should typically be around $2. On top of that, the size was half of a regular Naan. This is just unacceptable.

Overall Value: We spent $50 and left feeling completely unsatisfied.

Parking Issues: There is no dedicated parking space available; we had to pay extra for parking, adding to our frustration.

I’m genuinely puzzled by the positive reviews for this place. Based on my experience, I would not recommend trying the same items I did. Save your money and dine elsewhere.

I had some concerns about the service and experience at this establishment. Unfortunately, the response from the owner to my review was quite senseless and dismissive. Instead of addressing the actual issues I raised, the owner blamed me for my dissatisfaction. This lack of accountability does not reflect well on the business.

The worst sandwich ever, he has no idea of the bombay style sandwich. In the menu it says Amul Cheese and it was cheddar cheese. How can anyone eat Bombay Sandwich with cheddar cheese?

Chotu Indian Street Food is an absolute gem! The food is incredibly authentic, full of vibrant flavors that truly capture the essence of Indian street cuisine. From the spicy chaats to the perfectly cooked samosas, every bite was a delight. The portions were generous, and the prices were super reasonable. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the great overall experience. Whether you’re craving a quick snack or a full meal, Chotu delivers on every front. Highly recommended!
