We been a hand full of times and even got married on the beach at the hotel..it's a shame that no one has bought it and reopened it up.. crossing my fingers

This is verification that the Deauville Hotel - Collins Ave. has indeed been closed since 2017. (except for filming of The Irishman). There are no plans for reopening as the property lot is for sale without the structure. This is current as of June 2020.

How are you people leaving reviews on this hotel??? It has been shut down since July 2017. I know because i arrived there from michigan the day the fire happend. I had reservations there for almost a week and they had to put us in another hotel because the fire happend hours before we arrived there.

I wonder how it is possible that there is a review from 8 months ago, while the hotel is closed for two years (I stayed in Collins hotel near Deauville four months ago, so I know for sure it is closed) Most strange of all: the owner of the hotel responsed on that review! How????

I was really hoping they would reopen. I have been watching for years for the opening day. We had our honeymoon here and returned the year after on our anniversary. The staff and service was great and so was the breakfast brunch.

I love this hotel! Have been there twice already. It has a beautiful lounge area and indoor bar. Rooms have huge windows. The outside lounge area is amazing and opened late or maybe even all night. The pool is huge. Has a nice jacuzzi right next to a bar and food stand. Prices are decent. Has access to the beach. It has been closed for remodeling for two years now since they had an incident with some wiring in the building. I really hope they open soon.
It was an amazing holiday with my wife and son when we were there in August, 2014 .

I stayed here on my wedding in 2014. It was amazing and so beautiful. I would recommend that everyone stay here atleast once. I would love to stay there again when it opens back up.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice over the past few years for events. The first time we stayed, our room was extremely outdated that I was shocked at the price. The second time, we got renovated rooms. The location is very nice as it’s along the beach, but your resort fee only includes two chairs and they are quite strict about it. The sunrises are beautiful though.
