My go to spot for date night. The food is top notch. All of suppliers are listed so you know exactly where your meal is coming from. Leveraging local farms and locally sourced items is the way to go.

I was expecting something much better. The salad was good but not very big. TheAhi Bowl was OK but I've had much better. The fruit salad was just awful and weird. I got the pineapple sorbet instead, which was very good. I'm sure they could do much better. It's a beautiful hotel though I would rather have less ambience and better food.

I recently dined at Essência Restaurante at The Palms Hotel in Miami and had an incredible experience. The short ribs were unbelievably tender, and the curry and perfectly cooked back rice were simply divine. While the shrimp was good, I regret not trying the crudo as the flavors described sounded amazing. Their commitment to using locally sourced ingredients is evident in every bite. Essência is a must-visit for anyone seeking a delicious and fresh dining experience.
The only regret that I have is not taking pictures but anyways they wouldn't do justice.

Most disappointed expected top notch food unfortunately this didn't match my expectations Short Ribs needed a chain saw to cut wife's chicken kebab's were something I'd expect down my local takeaway only decent thing was the mojito

Hotel with narrow beds... for the price, at least queen size beds were expected... minibar doesn't work, in other words, no one checked the room before making it available... restaurant with outdated menu and few options... in other words... IT'S DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE AMOUNT CHARGED....

My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at Essensia, the food was superb! The manager and staff was super nice and went over and beyond to offer excellent services.

Food was tasty.Carlos was one of the best waitresses i have ever delt with . Quick , i asked for suggestions and it was on point . I asked also for a dessert for my son and to write happy birthday,he didnt hesitate. He deserves a good review

Excellent food an ambiance with a view of the pool. Food is certainly not inexpensive but it is worth it.

We ate there one evening.
Cozy atmosphere, very pleasant.
Unfortunately on the plate it's not very famous: very poorly seasoned tuna tartare on puff pastry (which has nothing to do there), tasteless lobster pasta... a shame, because the place deserves a better chief.
The price is in relation to the hotel: expensive
My advice: there is a very varied buffet formula, very good in the adjoining hotel and also at half price!

I was a little skeptical with others reviews and being in a hotel. Don't let that deter you, this place is undervalued. Service was excellent, multiple vegan/gluten free options which is ultimately why we choose to eat here to cater to dietary restrictions and someone with no restrictions.
Service was top notch and food was unique, we would return again.

The service was pretty indifferent, kinda of like sitting at the kiddie table at a family gathering. We selected the restaurant based on the tasting menu's experience, but they changed the days to only Thursdays. Open table should change this on their site. We only had a salad and entrees, but service was slow and indifferent, it took nearly two hours. Rarely checked and asked if we needed anything or more drinks. Beware, 18% gratuity is automatically added to bill, but waiter did not mention it. It was just OK to us. Also it seemed our entrees sat an awhile before being served.
