This is an amazing, authentic place. Modest and genuine. The chef learned his trade in a culinary school in his native Sardinia and I suspect from an aunt or some other family member. We have eaten here many times and keep coming after comparing Ginos with bigger and more expensive places. Tonight it was salads and pizza. All delicious. The creamy Nostra Caprese is pure delight. And the ending with a perfect tiramisu just says: tradition in the right hands is unbeatable.
As italian I highly recommend Graziano’s place (Chef and owner of Gino’s bottega italian).
His passion for the kitchen and his prudness for his land Sardegna, the beautiful island in the center of the Mediterranean sea.
Authentic flavors, and an authentic person.
Thanks Graziano.

This place is a true hidden gem in north beach. A real family feel when you are sitting in there. The food is absolutely delicious. Lasagna and osso bucco ravioli are a must, as well as the tiramisu. The hospitality is as authentic as it gets, people from Sardinia and Venezia GET IT. I will be returning often!
