Nico was amazing, walking us through the menu and suggesting dishes he thought we would like. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. We went for chicken and blue shrimp tacos, they were out of this world, together with a fish dish and crispy potatoes. We shared a passion fruit cheesecake for dessert which was to die for. The atmosphere was a great vibe with great music. We leave Miami in 5 days time and already talking about going back before we leave.

The food at Campo is amazing. Beverage selection is solid. We had a gin and tonic with monkey 47 and a lovely New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc that lean toward the French dry style. We got there during happy hour so we were able to enjoy some wonderful guacamole and chips.
For dinner, we had a world class Bronzino broccolini and salad … every bite was utterly delicious.
The servers were very attentive and concerned that we enjoy ourselves. The dining room and ambience are beautiful with a relaxed tropical vibe. As we walked in, we were drawn to the mellow vibes of classical Latino music, that, and I can’t explain this, reminded us of Frida Kahlo.
Unfortunately, that shifted to a live DJ early in the evening. (we missed that the DJ was going to play) and it quickly got to be very loud, with a thumping dance, beat soon after we arrived. That pretty much killed the vibe and the conversation for us, but we do understand that they’re looking to bring in a younger crowd of drinkers off the street. So note that if you’d like to eat in a calmer space, plan to be out of there by the end of happy hour.
Luckily, the manager, Laza was responsive to our request to turn down the volume on the music so that we could hear each other

The mezcal white Negroni was excellent — smoky, clean, and perfectly balanced. Not too sweet, not too strong. You can tell it was made with intention. I’d order it again.
