Unfortunately not how I remembered it.When we came to Miami in 2021 this place was recommend to us and we loved it so much we came back multiple times. We ordered breakfast sandwiches with toast and fruit and felt satisfied at the end. Now the menu has changed and the order is not possible unless you add multiple sides (and what would you do with the side of green beans that comes with the breakfast sandwich that can not be subbed out). The prices have also gone up quite a bit...
We had breakfast and dinner at the habitat for 2 days in a row this time around — and have been dining at the habitat every time we are in Miami for 3 years now.Breakfast buffet is very good though somewhat limited. Pastries could be fresher, omelettes are good and generously sized. Fruit selection limited but decent. A la carte options better.We love the dinner menu. The guacamole and chatted octopus appetizers were both great, they have several Mexican dishes that taste both...
As always, brunch was wonderful (and reasonably priced at $42 for the buffet)...great selection, presentation and quality of food using very fresh ingredients and excellent, attentive, friendly service from Mireya. Rosangela wasn't my server this time, but she is always friendly and helpful and remembers me from year to year too. I enjoy catching up with both of these ladies, it's like family when I'm there. The relaxed, beautifully natural, high-end atmosphere...
