We had a great time at the restaurant. The waiter was very very attentive. We got the classic chicken dish, which was very good. The large Mojitos were outstanding. And the two empanadas with pork were very good. We enjoyed the restaurant very much. When we get back to Miami Beach, we would go there again for dinner. 

I really don't know about the food because we sat at our table for more than 15 minutes and no one ever came over to greet us, give us water or offer food or drink. The family that sat down a few minutes after we did left as well because of the same reason.

Cuban sampler was very good. Two can share. Cocktails were very good and service was good as well.

First time dining at the restaurant, ordered the empanadas as an appetizer and the snapper entree and they were fantastic! Didn't stay for the live music at 9pm but will go back next time I'm in South Beach. Staff were friendly and the service was fast. My only feedback back is the mojito, just wasn't for me because they use flavor/syrup and I prefer muddled fruit and mint.

This is a tourist trap. Do not go here. For two of us we ordered two appetizers and an entree and without our consent they ordered two servings of each appetizers. This practically doubled our bill without any knowledge to us until the bill came. Shame on them and do yourself a favor by not eating directly on the art deco strip. I will never recommend this place and hope that management reconsiders their poor practices.

They didn't honor my reservation, had no seating for us on the terrace as requested, nd sat us on the street next to the sewers. Which smelled terrible. So we left. Never going back there again.

My expectation of the food and service was higher than what I received. Serrvice greeted us immediately and was friendly, but was very hard to get back whenever we needed something. One of the dishes was very dry, the chicken, and we asked if they could just replace that one piece. They did that without any issue, but it just took a while to get that done. Overall, it was OK, but will try other places going forward. 

It was a wonderful meal! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Recommend 100%!

An average restaurant in a touristy area. The food was decent, though not as good as some other Cuban restaurants we've tried in other cities. The atmosphere was very nice. However, the service did not meet expectations. The restaurant was not busy, yet it took a long time for our waitress to take our order, and after the food arrived, we did not see her again until she brought the bill. A 20% service fee was automatically added to the tab, and the waitress still hinted for additional tips. Given that it was Christmas, we added another 10%, but the service did not warrant a 30% total tip. Next time, we'll try another restaurant.

Very nice but waitress appeared distracted and uninterested. She seemed to be thinking about something else when we were ordering. Didn't see her for 20 minutes at a time, making it hard to pay the bill. Also spoke no or little English but this is not unusual for this locale. Food was excellent.

Absolutely worst experience. Food is over priced and not good. We ordered the chicken special and you could not cut it to the chicken it was so over done. We tried to tell the waitress who smiled and thanked us because she did not understand a word of English. Very expensive.

We had a really nice experience. We'll be back soon for dinner and to try the 1957 chicken

It was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was really good. 100% recommended.
