Had dinner here and really enjoyed the food. Service was also great always checking to see if anything needed. Would definitely recommend. Will most likely be back sometime as well ;)

I had a lovely vacation in Miami. Jia was a part of what made this an amazing vacation! I was searching for last minute dinner options and was able to get a reservation on a Thursday evening. The vibe and ambiance of this place is perfect for date night or a place for drinks. The service was also on point. Our server was super attentive, especially making sure our glasses were full with the bottle of delicious sake we ordered. Now on to the food. The peking duck is a MUST. The skin is nice and crispy and the duck is juicy and delicious. I like that it came with the authentic flour wrapper rather than the bao buns that we are used to in the US. I also like the beets and golden beets that it came with on the side which kept the dish nice and light. This dish was the star of the show and definitely satisfied my Chinese food craving. I also ordered the braised sichuan eggplant. This this was tasty and delicious. However, I think it was missing some steps in the preparation such as flash frying the eggplant before stir-frying as well as added some corn starch slurry to thicken up the sauce so it wraps around and glazes the eggplants better. There is a good selection of cocktails, wines, and sake. We got a nigori sake which paired well with our dishes. Our server also brought over a shot of Chinese wine (baiju) at the end which sealed the deal!

I went to Jia with friends on Saturday. The cocktails ? looked tempting, so I tried two different and both were tasty. The food was great and I enjoyed every bite of it. Had an eggplant as an appetizer and interesting salad with fried mushroom that were a bit on the spicy side. The staff was friendly, kind and attentive. Not sure if it’s every evening or just on weekend nights there was a DJ playing music. This place over all isn’t very big, but nicely furnished with booths for more private dining experience on one side and couch and bar sitting on the other side. Outdoor sitting is also available.

A bit too salty but good environment and service. A good place after a long day. Pretty authentic Chinese food and above-average select cocktail.

I love the food here but I was disappointed they play music too loud. We couldn't have a conversation with my party because the music was too loud. It's not a night club it's a restaurant and the music level should reflect that. It took away the finesse of the evening.

Amazing Asian cuisine, fresh, healthy and a talented staff. This is Not a tourist hot spot. Mostly friendly locals from the Marina area south of fifth.

We went to JIA for my best friend's 25th birthday. We had an amazing experience. Not only is the staff super kind and accommodating, the food is absolutely delicious! We had the black truffle sticky rice, short rib dumplings, spring rolls, bao buns, crystal noodles with crab roe sauce and the spicy green beans. Everything was delish & my favorite was the black truffle sticky rice. Our waitress, Gabriella was so attentive + kind and the other restaurant patrons were so sweet & helpful as well. I rate it a 12/10, will definitely be going back the next time I'm in Miami!

Jia upset me because I really wanted to love it or at least like it but - wow was it disappointing. The restaurant is inviting with a friendly staff and a welcoming vibe. Prices are not bad, especially when compared to their neighboring restaurants. Jia also has a broad menu with a good Dim Sum selection of dumplings and that's what brought me in. It's also what made me leave. The restaurant is nicely designed but not over the top flashy like other Miami Beach Asian or Asian-fusion restaurants and because of that I thought the focus would not be the scene or vibe but just the food. My Dim Sum was not fresh, and the dough was all wrong. Dumplings need to be made when ordered, but I think these were pre-made and perhaps - very pre-made. The shrimp in the Shrimp Shui Mei were not good, nor were the vegetables, and the same goes for the short ribs. Jia has a large menu so perhaps Dumplings aren't their thing - and maybe their other Asian offerings are the way to go. I did notice a recurring reviewer criticism of the Dim Sum so perhaps we just ordered the wrong items.

Jia is a great choice for all foods Asian and local. Noodles dim sum veggies seafood etc with delicious sauces and great ambiance. The chef and owner were there to make us feel welcome and highlight our dining experience. The decor was sexy and lively. The manager was a delight to talk to also. Located in the middle of the south of 5th neighborhood. Cocktails were delicious and creative. I am Art the Concierge and I recommend JIA to all.

For Vegetarians- Particularly I didn't liked ding ding noodles, Vegetarian fried rice were good but could have served with same garlic kinda sauce, crispy eggplant was Okay (not recommended) . The Vegan Litchi Paanna cotta was very good. The attendants were good.

Great menu - after two weeks of struggling to find some decent food. I found this place the flavours were out of this world as was my server Gabby.

I was surprised how good the food was. The duck was amazing. The panacotta lychee out of this world. I will be back for sure. I hope this restaurant is open for a long time. It has become one of my favorite restaurants in Miami

Honestly was a huge disappointment. The restaurant was empty for a Wednesday night, compared to full restaurants next door, if that tells you anything... Redeeming qualities was servers were friendly, and the ambiance was nice, especially if you came just for a drink at the bar. Food was not great, and even made us ill afterwards. They had a sign for valet pointing next door and the valet attendant said Jia didn't have valet and that it would cost $30. Brought this up to the hostess to no avail. Quite misleading/sketchy! I don't think this restaurant will survive long.

Absolutely phenomenal place in south beach! Fantastic service and some of the best dim sum in the state. We were in Miami for the food network's wine and food festival....and still ended up here twice!
