“Neya in Surfside is an outstanding kosher dairy restaurant and such a great mix of Mediterranean and Israeli gourmet cuisine.
It was my first time visiting after hearing so many recommendations and I was truly impressed!
Every dish felt handcrafted by the chef and full of unique flavors, like an explosion of taste in every bite. Yum!
The Dates Casino were incredible, the falafel was delicious, the polenta was exquisite, the pasta tasted so fresh….We tried many dishes along with the crafted drinks and everything was amazing including the decadent dessert. Soooo good!
And service was superb. Deborah, our server, was not only attentive, but very knowledgeable, always smiling, and every recommendation she made was spot on.
Even the music added to the great vibe.
If you are looking for a modern kosher gourmet restaurant with excellent food, great ambiance, and top level service, this is the place. Oh! And they have ladies night on Tuesdays so ladies: you get your first drink on the house!!! Totally recommended“

“What a gem! The reviews didn't lie! 4 of us each ordered something else and all of us had rave reviews. There was also Gluten free option for our Gluten free sister. But really the best part of this place is the owner Daniel. What a mensch! The place is lovely, the food amazing and the service incredible and the prices were very reasonable with great portions. “If you are going in the months of January and February be prepared to wait for a table. It is worth the wait...and while you wait...it's worthwhile to take a walk and see the graffiti on the walls of Winwood. It is amazing art and worth walking around to see. Zak the Baker has the most super freakin' breads and dishes...PERIOD! Make sure to take home some bread with you...the olive zattar is Delish! Parking is street parking...would not advise you to bring kids unless they are well fed before going...worth the wait“

“Nice American comfort & drinks 🍸 in a nice location . I have been coming here for years, we always get some pizza, pasta, dessert and plenty of drinks 🍸.

Small Hint : The pizza is small and thin. It is delicious but its not filing so we usually get 2 of them. Also, the linguini pasta dish was very small / basic - I would only buy it again with some additions( maybe vegetables ) otherwise its not worth the price.“

The old manager was fired, and now Catalina is in charge. She’s professional, efficient, and really turned things around. I know her from Juice by Julie, and she’s been great here too. The service is much better, and I’m confident this location is in good hands now.

9/18/25 .I came today to pick up an uber eats order. The person behind the counter was very busy filling a big box order. I saw this bag that said uber eats on the counter (see pic) and it looked like it was set there to be picked up by customers, so I checked to see if the receipt had my name on it. Meanwhile this extremely rude and aggressive man (see pic) yelled at me and told me to not touch anything and to ask him first. I tried to explain that I was just checking to see if it was my uber eats order which looks the same as this. He continued to be rude. I then calmly suggested to him that if they don’t want people to pick up their order themselves maybe they shouldn’t put it right here on the counter where it’s misleading as it looks like it’s ready for pickup. I go to Starbucks regularly and pick up my order which is waiting on the counter among other orders, so this is a common practice for businesses to leave the order out for pickup by the customer. I’ve never however been yelled at in a Starbucks or any other restaurant for checking if something was my order. Totally rude and unacceptable, seems to be poor management over there and they’re not respectful to their customers.“
