One friendly staff member. It seemed as though they did not want hotel guests at the hotel.

We enjoyed grabbing drinks and a bite here. Staff were very friendly! Octopus was good.

The closer - except the bar due to weather AND no one thought to call the people with reservations. Then the person waiting on us was more interested in chatting up a customer also sitting at the bar - the entire time we were there - then checking on us ever. We repeatedly had to flag down the other bartender for things. Then to add insult to injury a 20% gratuity is added to every establishment within the hotel. So, I was forced to pay for the lousiest service ever. Raw salmon on my visit here two days prior with pounding EDM music and now this. NEVER again!!

Yesterday at La Côte, I had one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had in a 5-star hotel. Wrong food was brought to my table — a huge platter clearly meant for 4 people, the most expensive item on the menu, even though I was dining alone.
The server’s attitude was rude, and the check was thrown at me without any explanation.

When I asked to speak with a manager, the situation somehow became even worse. Instead of resolving the issue, she told me to “just take it to my room” or “give it to the girl at the champagne cart,” which was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful.

For a hotel of this level, this kind of service is absolutely unacceptable.

I was excited to bring my followers a great experience at the Fontainebleau Hotel restaurant… but unfortunately, it was anything but family-friendly.

We came with my mom, who is almost 70 and has difficulty walking long distances. We were escorted through the hotel to the restaurant without any issues. After we finished lunch and stepped out to the beach area with our drinks, no one informed us that once we left, we wouldn’t be allowed back inside unless we were hotel guests. When we tried to return, we were denied entry—even though we had just come from the restaurant moments earlier.

What made the experience even more disappointing was the inconsistency. We watched the entrance staff allow other guests to walk in simply by saying they were staying at the hotel—no room key, no bracelet—while we were refused. The woman at the entrance was also chewing gum the entire time, which came across as unprofessional and inattentive.

As someone who shares experiences with my followers and looks for great places to recommend, this was a huge letdown. Terrible service, poor communication, and zero consideration for guests with Mobility concerns.

Save your time. If you’re looking for a place that truly values customer experience, Nikki Beach is a much better option.

I am a world class person and have ample knowledge of dining world. The photos of the restaurant are very misleading. Imagine paying the prices of a nice restaurant and having your Cocktails served in a cheap plastic cup and of course the bottled water as well. I was told by our server that because of the vicinity to the pool they do that. Someone need to teach these guys that there are unbreakable Tritan glasses sold at Williams-Sonoma that are very high quality that provide you with the real glasses experience worry free. The food was average. This place is ok for those who are not demanding people.

My experience at La Côte was rather forgettable — neither good nor bad, simply unremarkable. The chicken sandwich had a pleasant flavor, but the meat itself was tough and overcooked, making it difficult to enjoy.

The service was attentive but not genuinely warm, with staff appearing somewhat rushed and insistent that we finish quickly — hardly the relaxed seaside experience one expects from such a setting.

I would like to express my disappointment regarding the service I received during my recent visit. I was attended by Carlos C, who brought the bill without me requesting it. When I asked if this was an invitation for us to leave, there was no clear explanation, which made the situation quite uncomfortable. Especially since we still wished to order food in addition to our drinks.

After we ordered two drinks around 5:00 PM, his attitude became noticeably rude and unprofessional. This was particularly disappointing given that we are staying at the hotel and expected a more welcoming and courteous service.

I hope this feedback helps improve the guest experience for future visitors.

We didn’t stay at the Fontainebleau Hotel but decided to try La Côte based on good reviews, the location, and the menu photos on Google Reviews. Unfortunately, the first impression wasn’t great - the hostess was very unfriendly, greeting us with complete indifference. The restaurant was almost empty (only 3–4 tables occupied), yet she simply walked us to a table, said “Enjoy” in the same indifferent manner, and left.

Our server was more pleasant and explained some of the menu items. We ordered half a dozen oysters - they were very small, and worse, each one had several shell fragments in each, so you have to eat them very carefully. The chicken kebab was very good; however, the price listed is only for the kebab itself, with no sides included. The tabouleh, which was still interesting to try, the waiter suggested as an accompaniment was an extra $13. Also, the side dish shown in the Google photos (with cucumber salad and rice) is no longer offered.

Another issue was with water service. We were only given a single glass of water at the start and no refills, even though I didn’t order any alcoholic drinks and easily finish two glasses of water during a meal, especially in the heat.

One more downside of dining outside: as soon as you leave your table, birds flock to it looking for leftovers.

Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the service, especially the hostess, leaves much to be desired.

The food was delicious. We had the salmon, shrimp cocktail, and Caesar salad and we loved it all. It was, however, extremely loud music so we opted to take our meal back to our room to enjoy it in a little quieter Space.

The hygiene conditions were so poor that I cannot recommend this restaurant at all.
To begin with, this place has basically turned into a feeding ground for pigeons. The couch seats near the entrance are especially bad—pigeons walk freely underneath the couches, and if you’re not careful, they’ll even fly onto the armrests and low tables.

I had high expectations since this is a restaurant at the five-star Fontainebleau Miami Beach, so it was very disappointing. The food itself was good and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, which made the lack of hygiene stand out even more.

I strongly recommend that the restaurant management take serious action to address the pigeon problem.

It’s a great place to spend your evening or day by the pool. Sometimes the music gets a bit loud especially if you are near the speakers. But overall it’s a chill place.

Food was delicious! Atmosphere was adorable. Service was PERFECT. A but pricey for the food, but not nearly as pricey as all other restaurants at Fontainebleau. So we loved it!!!

Waiter ‘Max’ ruined our experience. Terrible rude waiter- ignored our requests and had a very argumentative attitude with us the entire time. Unwelcoming and unfriendly.
