Food was good but extremely over priced. Plain pizza is $32 and adding a couple toppings your over $50 for a pizza. Meatballs were good but only two medium size meatballs for $23. Should have been at least four for that price.
Lucali definitely lives up to its reputation as one the best NY Brooklyn style Pizza that you can get. I tried it with ham, pepperoni and sausage and it is probably the best pizza that I have ever had. It has a PERFECT balance of fresh tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese, on a slightly charred, crispy crust, hot from the oven. The meat was plentiful and perfectly complemented the base.
