Food was perfect. Flavors, cooking techniques, and temperature all perfect. Service was slow. I needed to ask for my wine and beverages to be filled. Should not happen in such a nice restaurant. They need to do something about the noise level inside. It was way too loud, could not have a conversation, and it wasn't even busy. Bad design for sound. Every noise carries and is magnified.
Loved everything about our time there last night. Went with family and we all found fantastic and flavorful dishes to enjoy. The hot stone cooking was really fun too! Great Sake list and cocktails! Can't wait to come back!!
Whenever in Miami, I go back to Makoto. They have excelent food, localization, and service. The food is a litlle spicy for those who are not fond of this spice. It is noisy, but with a familiar ambience.
