There was a long line to get my espresso, but it was absolutely worth the wait. I’ve been trying a few coffee shops within walking distance, and so far this one stands out as the best.
The espresso was incredibly smooth—strong in flavor without being acidic or bitter, which is hard to find. They also made my cortado perfectly.
Presentation wasn’t anything special—I do enjoy a nice bit of latte art—but the flavor more than made up for it.
Customer service was good and efficient, even with the crowd. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Had a disappointing experience with the service. When I asked the waitress to take my order, I was told to wait. However, she passed by my table multiple times and took orders from other tables, including taking a second order from the same table, while my table was consistently ignored.
I’m not sure if this was intentional, but it felt discriminatory and left me frustrated. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure fair and attentive service for all guests.

We went yesterday to this location as we haven’t seen it before. We have been many times to the Tribeca NYC restaurant and we love it. Too bad Maman was not able to replicate either food and most important service in this SoBe branch. We waited more than 45 minutes to get one breakfast croissant and one avocado toast which by the way y half the size of the NYC restaurant. What really disappointed me was the response from the waitress when I asked her after 30 minutes of waiting for our food why it was talking so long? Her response: “Because it’s Saturday, and we have a lot of people (which was not true, the was probably 50% of their capacity) terrible response to a customer, zero empathy, zero acceptance of the reality that why it can take almost one hour two get one croissant and one avocado toast… Oh and it comes only whit one egg. I just don’t understand how a great place with a great menu can disappoint a potential recurring customer because their staff is just not prepared and has absolutely no idea of customer service. Luckily I was able to leave a custom tip.

Love the vibes in here and the portraits of family, friends and people that are part of the business around the restaurant. Got the avo toast and a little hummus plate that was really nice! Guava pastry was delicious too!

4 mornings of my vacation were spent a Maman. During that time we sampled multiple delectable pastries -- beignets, nutty chocolate cookie, turnovers, brioche and stuffed croissants -- oh my peel apart goodness and breakfast was fast, healthy, and delicious! Egg steak and avocado, avocado toast bowls and sandwiches on brioche. Except for calories -- there are no downsides. The atmosphere is old world European, with a fantastic outdoor patio, Pet friendly, kid and family friendly and very sweet and helpful staff. Do yourself a favor -- all the coffee is amazing but order the cortadito-- it is done perfectly and I'm a dark roast French press girlie!! Perfection!

I had an amazing time at maman. The food was great and the drinks were amazing. A friendly staff made my visit even more special. Particularly Matt. He was a kind soul and a pleasure to talk to. Made my day a little better with personable conversation. He made me feel welcome and at home. Will definitely be returning. And he is an asset to maman :)
