Very overpriced. Our food was not good. The service was extremely poor however, the restaurant placed a 20% gratuity on our bill. Our beverages were not brought to us after ordering them. We had to ask the waitress and after doing so, we were brought warm waters.Our group received and finished our food long before my wife’s food was brought to her. When we asked if her meal could be compensated, the waitress engaged in a verbal argument over it. We contacted the manager, who also engaged in a verbal argument over the issue. The food was overpriced and low quality.

Worst place. I'm not a picky eater, but it's really hard to get a BURGER AND SEAFOOD STEW Wrong! Wow. Too salty, over cooked, and fries are toothpicks. Just keep walking and go somewhere else . Worst place.

Overpriced and horrible service! After the initial order was placed we did not see our waitress again until it was time to pay. Waiters and management were nasty to deal with after addressing the poor service and disgusting food. STAY AWAY!!

Expensive, slow service, average food and a mandatory 20% ! So many reasons not to go again. Location on Lincoln Road is great thought but STAY AWAY! The saddest thing of all is that the employees (and presumably the owners) don't know a thing about treating their customers! The food they serve is an embarrassment to Italy! Avoid this place at all costs!

It is a great restaurant! It may not seem too good with the other ratings given, but the food is good despite the prices. The outdoor seating is also very nice

The hostess today with dark curly hair at 5:30pm was absolutely horrendous towards me today. I simply went to ask a question and she answered in the most disrespectful manner. So rude and disgusting. Learn who to hire! I’m a local and these kind of places go down in no time with such disrespectful staff.

Overpriced and unprofessional staff. Our food was dry and salty. Food is auctioned off. The server verbally interrupted us to ask who ordered what dish. This usually happens because someone other than the person who took the order is bringing out the food, and the seat numbers were recorded incorrectly.

What a treat! We enjoyed dining at Montalcino. Service was great and food was delicious. Great ambiance, too.
The waitress told us we were ´F·······g ?????´ (her language was absent of manners or coherence) as we left. The manager squared up to us trying to fight and made a completely buffoon of himself. We waited about an hour for nothing to turn up. our waitress spoke no english, or spanish, and made no effort to be made understood. The few things that arrived were incorrect, and the rest of the order never looked like turning up. The excuses presented were laughable and they tried to shift the blame to us for their shortcomings. We left and ended up buying a frozen pizza which was disgusting, yet much more palatable than a minute with their obscene waitress and their phallic looking manager.

The Worst Italian food I have ever had. I should have read the reviews before coming here. My sister ordered Pinot Noir and it reeked of vinegar and was disgusting. I had Margherita Pizza and it had zero taste. My sister had the Carbonara Pasta that also had zero taste. Adding salt and pepper made it worse! Stay away!

Food was freezer fresh at best, brought the wrong drink. Added an automatic 20% gratuity for two people. Don't waste your time. Because they aren't even trying to pretend like you have time or calories to be accountable for. And the bathrooms were a far cry of cleanliness.

Food was subpar, I mean you can't mess up raviolis in butter sauce. Would not recommend focaccia bread, just plain dough with tomatoes thrown on top. Service was horrible, not sure of my servers name but he seemed to be less attentive to me and my boyfriend (I'm assuming because we are in our 20's) than any other table. We were the only table that did not receive bread, we also asked for our focaccia to come out first (we were hungry) yet it came out with our meal. Tip is already auto-grated which isn't a problem but I guess that's why he did not seem to care. Will not be back.
