I’ve come to the Monterrey Bar a few times now and really feel like it’s the perfect hidden gem in Miami. The bites are solid and the cocktails even better. The ambiance and whoever is providing the entertainment is great. From DJ’s using records to a solo vocalist, it’s the cherry on top of this quaint bar. I appreciate the intimacy and like that it attracts patrons that can be more swanky or casual.

Great drinks and front door man Alex was great, but god forbid you go through the vinyls and request a song! Bartender woman went up to my friend and said “that’s not a good look, honey” and made her super uncomfortable meanwhile the dj said he was taking requests and offered her to go through the options they had. Weiiiiirrrdd! Left immediately after

Best hidden gem in Miami! I went on a Sunday evening. It was quiet, which maybe isn’t great for this wonderful speakeasy, but suited me just fine. Lovely staff, great selection of cocktails, and tasty “bites”. Highly recommend this cocktail bar!

The ambiance is amazing. I love a dim lit bar. Very niche and sultry. They have records spinning all night and display the record cove on the bar - they played amazing music perfect for sipping a cocktail and chatting it up. Their bar menu is perfectly curated for any appetite or cuisine you may be looking for. Absolutely delectable. Their beverage menu has very authentic touches and even tastier drinks. Would give this place 6 stars if I could.
