Nettuno Oysters & Seafood

Had dinner here last night, such a wonderful experience. Food was outstanding and service was even better. Camilo took excellent care of us, highly recommend!

Si jamais vous passez par South Beach, Miami, ce petit trésor de resto vaut définitivement le détour. Mon conjoint et moi y sommes allés dîner pour souligner notre 30e anniversaire. Le Nettuno assoie tout au plus une quinzaine de personne. Le décor est sobre et rappelle bien qu'il s'agit d'un restaurant de fruits de mer italien. Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par Tanya qui a pris bien soin de nous tout au long du repas, mais l'honneur revient à la qualité —goût et présentation— de la nourriture qui nous a été servie. Mon conjoint et moi avons commandé les huîtres Rockefeller comme entrée. Je n'ai jamais de toute ma vie mangé des huîtres aussi délicieuses, principalement à cause de la sauce. À tel point que j'ai demandé à notre serveuse de m'apporter une petite cuillère pour la déguster jusqu'à la dernière goutte. Comme plat principal, mon amoureux a choisi les crevettes grillées accompagnées d'une purée de pommes de terre lisse et crémeuse ainsi que de courgettes et de tomates grillées. Pour ma part, le risotto aux crevettes et champignons coiffé de trois grosses crevettes grillées était un sans faute absolu. Les desserts étaient aussi copieux que délicieux et ont été dégustés par pure gourmandise. Pour accompagner notre repas, nous avons choisi un Pinot Grigio servi frais à souhait et la Maison nous a offert un digestif à base de Limoncello. Pour conclure, le Nettuno n'est pas donné, surtout à cause de l'ajout d'environ 40% d'échange entre le dollar US et le dollar canadien, mais il en vaut vraiment la peine. Je n'oublierai jamais cette expérience culinaire et je souhaite de tout cœur pouvoir y retourner un jour.

Oysters Rockefeller was creamy goodness. Don't worry the raw bar was excellent too - I'm just not a fan.

This place is a hidden gem. The seafood is fresh with a great spin on Mediterranean flavors. Highly recommend!!

Our party of 4 did not order appetizers. Bread with flavorful dips was brought to each couple. We ordered a bottle of Albariño. The wine, as expected, was very good. Each of us had a different entree. I chose the mixed seafood risotto; my husband, the gnocchi with mixed seafood. Our friends had octopus and pasta with clams in a white wine sauce. Each of us was very pleased with our choice. The seafood was fresh and well prepared. The flavorings were excellent. The specialty of the restaurant is fresh oysters. Maybe next time. There will definitely be a next time.

I am always apprehensive when dining in touristed areas as the expense doesn't usually match the food experience but this was certainly an exception. We started with the octopus salad and had the squid ink risotto and homemade spaghetti with clams. Pasta was al dente and the clams were tender with just the right amount of sauce; honestly one of the best we have ever had! Risotto had just the right amount of chew and great brininess from the squid ink and quality shellfish. The octopus was tender and well seasoned over a bed of arugula, which was an excellent opening course. Loved this place!

We went for my spouses Birthday. The food, ambiance, and service did not disappoint. The food was delicious from the appetizer, which was a seafood tower, to the desert. I would definitely eat at Nettuno again.

Exceptional service and ownership. Detailed, sophisticated, but refreshingly unpretentious. Very honest and authentic. Will be returning and with friends. Absolutely recommended.

Gabriel treated us to an outstanding meal! Oysters were fresh and flavorful with a spicy cocktail sauce and fresh lemoncello spritz. Branzino was delicious and delicate, served with light, fluffy mashed potatoes and asparagus. Lobster ravioli was fully stuffed in a tart but creamy tomato sauce. The highlight of the evening: a table side hand-crafted tiramisu with fresh hot espresso; absolutely to die for! Espresso to finish the meal off and I can honestly say one of the best authentic Italian meals I've had. Will definitely come back!

The reviews were stellar and we selected this restaurant during our trip for one of the evenings. The service was good but the food was a bit underwhelming.

Wonderful food and service. Had the Delizia Di Mare, seafood in a marinara sauce - wholeheartedly recommended! This little resturant delivers.
