I've never felt compelled to leave a review on Yelp until today. Well really two days ago, and I've been back to this place every day since then. This spot is authentic, local, and the food is an excellent value. Hot plates are served daily and rotate between various meats, so expect something slightly different each time you go. My go to: Rice and beans Plantains Roast chicken/pork/meatballs/ etc. All for $10 or less (depends who is working). Can totally get two meals out of it.

The sandwiches at Ocean Deli were amazing. And being in South Beach, you really can't beat their price for the type of food offered. They have the traditional sandwich fixings with Boarshead lunch meat and various deli salads and sides. Being in a convenience store, they have pretty much and side of chips/sweets/drink you could be looking for! Service was a little slow so make sure you leave a bit of time.

Gentleman at the register was very nice and professional. Sandwiches are great! They just take a little and you have to repeat your specifications (if any) several times. Overall it has a good variety in products too. ?
This place was such a relief from the high south beach prices. The sandwiches were really good and the coffee was amazing. Every staff member I interacted with was so friendly. I highly recommend the classic ham sandwich or the breakfast options. I wish I had time to try every sandwich on the menu.

I'm a tourist in the area and woke up very early this morning. The front desk woman, Shirley at my hotel, recommended this spot to us. The staff is amazing, very friendly and the coffee is out of this world. The location is convenient and clean :)
