“Ambience:
The spot is located inside a food court that offers a variety of different cuisines, which adds to the overall vibe. The shared seating space is decent and comfortable for a casual meal.
Food:
I love sushi when I can customize it to my taste, and I was able to do that here. While the server was okay with the changes, the response didn’t feel particularly welcoming. That said, the sushi itself was great. I had a shrimp tempura roll with cream cheese and spicy mayo on top with tempura flakes, and it turned out exactly how I like it.“

“Food was decent—spring rolls and shrimp gyoza were solid (7/10), shrimp fried rice was our favorite (8/10), while the ramen and chicken katsu were just okay. The real standout was our server, Aleska—super friendly and made the experience much better. Food came out really fast too!“

“Plain and simple: It’s fantastic ramen. I have been to Japan and it’s difficult to reach the caliber of the Ramen there but Shimuja is the best ramen in Miami and I would recommend it to anyone. Affordable, quick, large portions, perfect broth with the right amount of spice. It’s great.“

“Amazing service and great food! Came here for the first time and thought I ordered a small tea, which they then delivered. They rushed over soon and told me I had paid for a regular size. I told them it was fine and I would keep the small, but they brought over the next drink anyway! My friends took my extra tea and we all had a wonderful meal. Food was super fast and well cooked. Wonderful staff. Come in, especially late at night!“

“This is a diamond in the rough. You must come. Service is amazing and the sushi melts in your mouth like a piece of the best chocolate you’ve ever had. The rice around the sushi is warm and soft making the eel and crab pop in your mouth. You will not be disappointed“

“My boyfriend and l arrived here at 10 ish pm and we were instantly greeted. All of the staff was extremely kind and helpful. My boyfriend and I each ordered individual rolls and then had some wagyu ramen which was all delicious. The servers were extremely understanding when we asked to switch to a booth, and made it feel like no issue at all.
Our server Roland, was extremely attentive and caring. Food was amazing & the overall vibe of the place was nice as well. Will definitely be back.“
