This restaurant has a huge potential to go very far with minor improvements
The atmosphere is great
Our server Havier was very pleasant and very knowledgeable
The restaurant manager Mario was very attentive
The pasta was great
Unfortunately, the only plate that was average was the veal melanase. Hopefully the chef will learn how to imply it
We will come back

Rao’s gave us the best Italian meal I’ve ever had. My fiancée and I went for a date night and tried the meatballs, lobster pasta, shrimp, and chicken parm. Each dish was incredible, with the marinara sauce being hands down the best I’ve tasted. Can’t recommend this place enough for a special night out!

Very disappointed, my meatball starter was ok but burrata had a skin of leather and chicken parm WAS a tasteless piece of leather. Denis our server kept us entertained but the food was bad bad bad. Never ever again. We were told the head chef was sitting at a table across from us but perhaps it’s better that he trains up his staff before taking a night off with his loud noisy buddy.

Extremely overpriced for what it is. It is difficult to find low cholesterol options; most dishes contain meat, dairy, or both. The staff are friendly and attentive. The music is good.
Vegetarian options: Most of the vegetarian options have cheese and are therefore high cholesterol.

Absolutely blown away by my recent dining experience at Rao’s! From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. GM Francois and his staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The attention to detail, warm hospitality, and flawless service were truly exceptional.
Francois personally checked in to ensure we were enjoying our meal, and his team was incredibly attentive, making us feel like VIPs. The food was divine, every bite more delicious than the last. This is a place where both the cuisine and the service shine. Highly recommend!

Must try for the New York new comer. Food was fair and service was lacking with pushiness. Kicked out before the 2:00 imposed limit.
There was a table assistant that was very proper and attentive. But over all service was not consistent and it felt more of an in an out service.
No harm in trying if you don’t mind paying for expensive meal that lack perfection and service.
Canelones were soggy. Pesto pasta was excellent , veal Parmesan was fare, potatoes and meatballs good.

Went here for my birthday dinner was a fantastic experience. Wanted to try the nyc location for years but this worked out. Not quite the iconic east Harlem haunt but still provides that nyc old charm.

Reason why in gave 2 stars is, I ordered the snapper, which is priced at $45, but I asked if they can make it like a fish priced at $75 I believe sole. Made in a wine sauce with capers. When my bill came they charged me $75 vs $45. I aksed sever why, he stated he had to put it that way. I was blown away that he charged me for a fish I didn't ordered. Up to that point service was great and food is good. I couldn't even give him less tip, because in sobe they automatically charge you 20% . I am not a cheap person by any means, I just don't like to be taken advantage of. As i asked some if friends there thoughts everyone said that was wrong. I wouldn't go back or recommend this restaurant.

During my first visit to Miami Beach, I instantly fell in love with the vibrant atmosphere and beautiful scenery. To my delight, I discovered that Rao’s has a location here. I fondly remembered my previous experience in Vegas, where I was captivated by their Caprese salad. The Burrata cheese was incredibly fresh and melted in my mouth, so much so that I returned to Vegas just for that dish!
Our waiter, Vladimir, made our evening even more special. He was warm and friendly, treating us like royalty. His genuine enthusiasm for the restaurant was infectious, and he went above and beyond to make us feel like part of the Rao’s family. Vladimir was also very knowledgeable about the restaurant’s history, weaving captivating stories that enhanced our dining experience. He suggested some delicious sides that perfectly complemented our main dishes.
I am truly grateful for his exceptional service and would absolutely request him on my next visit. Rao's has certainly made a lasting impression on me, and I can’t wait to return!

I didn’t expect to love it, to be honest. I don’t like the Rao’s grocery store sauce and expected this to be the same. But it was delicious, fresh food.
The meats were very high quality. The pasta was okay; gluten free pasta was apparently great.
