I called to make a reservation. No one answered and went to VM that they don't take reservations. Some other reviewers said they do. I didn't ask when I just walked in. Lucky no line before 7pm. It got full right after I got to sit down. Bar sitting was fun to watch open kitchen.

Finally got to try the "best damn crab cioppino". The seafood was really fresh and the tomato broth was tangy and rich in flavor without being overwhelming. Paired well with the bread, though I did wish the bread was toasted.

Y'all. Yelp needs to add a special gold star for this place. We had six east coast oysters that were good. Clam chowder that was awesome. Then came the star of the night - Cioppino for 2. There are no words to describe it. The Dungeness crab was delicious. The sauce is what made this dish so much better than others I've had. It was filled with mussels and clams and calamari and all sorts of goodness. The other person ordered the prawn linguine pomodoro and that was ridiculous as well. We shared a bottle of Pinot Grigio and it went perfectly with our dinner. There is no dessert menu so we popped by a bakery.

Two of us went for a birthday dinner here, shortly after moving to SoBe full time. We love SoFi, so we decided to investigate restaurants we were not familiar with there. We sat outside, which I like, but the area is so narrow, on one side of your table you are looking at car tires and the other side, dogs being walked right by your table. We both started-off with a glass of red wine. We were surprised it was chilled, and commented on that. Our server said the guy they buy it from says to serve it that way. Maybe so, but we have had red wine thousands of times before, and it was never served chilled. We didn't like it. We get the pasta main course, and it is a very small portion, and not very good. I would say the worst pasta I have ever had, except as a kid, having an occasional can of Chef Boy R Dee or spaghetti-o's. It definitely appeared to be boiled dry pasta. We then realize the menu states you get a side salad with this offering. We did not, so we ask our server. He says they used to do that. But they haven' updated the menu. (HA) So, after the server catches a clue we were not happy about that, he asks if we want a salad packed to take home to eat the next day. As I am not a fan of soggy, wilted left over salad, we say "no thanks". So he offers a complementary dessert. We accept that, and ask to see the dessert tray, as we see one being shown to another patron. We both choose one, and when we get ours, it is about a quarter the size as the sample we were shown. As a sidebar, Mrs. Rossella herself is present during all of this, and it is clear she knows we are not feeling the place. She doesn't even acknowledge us or say hello. There were only two other people there, even though it was prime dinner time--about 8 PM/in high-season December.

We walked over here for brunch on our last day in Miami, and it was a nice little place! It was a Sunday morning, but not too busy yet, so we were seated right away. The charm of this place comes from a few things: the tiles, the open space, the kitchen upstairs and food brought down by d*** waiter- wait, whaaatt! Let me go back, we first walked in and were seated, and I was looking at the menu thinking, "Hmm, nothing is calling to me very much." But as I started to look around, I loved the patterns of the tile, I loved how tall the ceiling was and how much light and sun came in through the windows, and looking at the back of the shop, there was this spiral staircase leading up to, that's right, the kitchen! They had food going down in a dumbwaiter, so we watched this process and it was so unique and transparent, I started to get excited to just be in this cool space! So the food was a bit small portion-wise, but all of the food we ordered was delicious! One downside was that it looks like other patrons had been picking at the long, brown booth that ran the length of the restaurant. It will probably cost a bit, but I wish they would fix that up because it was distracting from the otherwise charming Rossella's! Anyway, walk on over if you're in Miami!

Wandering around South Beach looking for parking and fortunately found a spot in front of Rossella's Kitchen. It was a small attractive restaurant and we went in for dinner. We were immediately impressed with the warm welcoming atmosphere with people enjoying their food and company. And the food did not disappoint. Excellent salads and pasta. My wife had the special Bronzino which was excellently prepared. A fairly extensive menu for a small restaurant but everything was wonderful. Finished the meal with a lovely homemade Limoncello. This will be one of my go to places in Miami.

Delicious retreat from the "boom boom" that is South Beach. Cozy spot to escape to when you want a conversation and great service. Enjoyed the spinach omelette with tasty side salad and crunchy bread. Charming and worth a trip. Went for 4/5 just because they were out of potatoes and our buddy craved them. They explained and quickly subbed a lovely avocado. Great spot to explore and relax with a nice meal.

I had the clams in a white wine sauce and fettuccine with sausage, mushrooms and truffle cheese. Both were excellent! Would definitely recommend their pasta dishes to anyone!

We went here for a Sunday breakfast. Fabulous ambience. Not as crowded as other restaurants nearby our hotel-the Marriott Stanton. I would highly recommend this restaurant . Great coffee, great service, can't see anything negative. My husband and I were able to sit and enjoy our coffee and we're not hurried by the staff.I had the eggs Benedict with salmon it was fantastic.
