This was hands down the highlight of Miami Music Week. Definitely going back for a night out on South Beach. With the atmosphere it felt like VIP for the entire night

My girls and I made an impromptu stop at Sophie's for a drink after dinner and we loved it! I thought the vibe was awesome, the simple gin and ginger that I got was well made and the music was legit! I think we may have walked in to a 90s night which my group really enjoyed. On a Friday, it was a full house at about 10pm. If you're looking for something chill and laidback, this is a good place to start off the night. If my group ends up in Miami again in the future, I'm sure all of us would be more than happy to make this our first stop. Hopefully I'll get a chance to return so I can try one of their cocktails next time!

Sophie's is a cool laid back local bar. It has a small outside area in the back that you can hang out in if you want to see daylight (we arrived at 6pm when it opened) or you can go inside to the dark, velvety room featuring a huge chandelier and some very interesting wallpaper. It's a sexy spot. They had some smooth grooves on for happy hour but they also have a DJ starting at 10pm. They had a cool cocktail menu as well as happy hour when we arrived so I decided to try Le Pervert and my friend opted for the happy hour margarita ($8 include tax and service charge - every damn place on the beach has a service charge it seems). Both were delicious. My Pervert ran around $13. Happy Hour on a Sunday is pretty empty but they told us it fills up quickly after that. Really cool spot to check out with good drinks and I'm sure an awesome vibe after us early birds have left the coop.

I've walked by this place for months and never knew there was a bar inside. I never would have knows it existed or how to get in if I hadn't heard about it from a friend who said it was a great bar. Really like this place. Very cool spot, great music and drinks, nice vibe. Would be great if they put up a sign though, I can't imagine how many other people in the area also walk by it all the time and don't know it's a bar. Definitely see myself becoming a regular here.

Kicking off the Birthday month shenanigans, we stumbled into this swanky gem last night. Awesome bartender, Seth. Thanks for great conversation & great service! Music, Whisky and beer...oh yeah and pretty cool photo oops with the crazy wallpaper!!! Fun times, we will be back.

Had a unique interchange here with the bouncer. Short version. They have a dress code. Don't be a guy and come in wearing flip flops. Girls are fine in them. Guys are not. But they won't say it's a dress code. It's a safety issue because guys have to "be able to carry girls out" Quite literally what the bouncer said Totally fine. Just FYI. It's a nice bar with a dress code. Don't be a dude in flip flops. Girls are ok in them
Sophie's opened in what used to be Radio Bar, a longtime locals favorite. I was happy to see this space reopen, and was not disappointed with what it's become. Sophie's is an awesome bar with a great vibe, music, and really nice decor. Not your typical South Beach bar, and that's a good thing. Sadly bars like this are a dying breed around here these days so it's good to have a new one pop up. Head on over, you won't be disappointed.
