I was very excited about this meal, but of the nine course entrée only three what I consider to the level of what was expected for a Michelin star restaurant with such a high price point. The service was impeccable unfortunately the food just wasn't quite the same level.
Service was spectacular. I sat at the bar and Rafael was very friendly and available for an occasional chat, which I enjoy when dining alone at bar seating. He was very personable which is sometimes missing in fine dining! Everyone was very pleasant and attentive. Presentation of the six course Chefs tasting was lovely. My favorite being the Jalapeño puff with truffle which was heavenly and the bright citrus desert. The wine flight paired well and all the wines were very well...
We ate here 2 years ago and the food was fantastic. We absolutely loved the restaurant. We couldn't wait to eat here. It was the last restaurant of the week for us. Well, first let me say that the staff was great, but that is about all I can say that was great.
