They must be padding the reviews with fake reviews. ? we got the beef samosas those were okay 3.5 /5 crispy and the meat was light and slightly seasoned. We got two orders and there was 6 prices but they only gave us 1 of the dipping sauce in a 2 oz cup. The sauce was a lil spicy, bitter with a tanginess. 2/5. The stew chicken with the boiled egg entree was $15. It was exactly 1each chicken drumstivand 1 old as heck boiled egg in a lot of oil and thick red pastry sauce that was completely bitter. It had no other flavors besides bitter and burnt tomato paste. No spice and barley any salt. I had to remove a 1/2 cup of oil resting on top of it with a paper towel before we could try it. 0/5. The lamb stew was almost the exact same sauce only less bitter. The lamb was 17.99 for about 8 oz of meat and 8 oz nearly flavorless thick tomato paste sauce. It was slightly better than the chicken stew but it was some tough chunks of meat in the Injeera bread was very tangy as if made with spoiled butter milk. The texture is like a thicker crepe that was sprayed with vinegar. We got a slice of chocolate cake that was not made in house. Tasted like the fridge if you know what I'm talking about. This was our first taste and last taste of Ethiopian food. Everything was $64 and besides the Samos it was inedible and disposed of so we wasted money They didn't give forks or napkin in the take out bag, go figure. Will not return not worth the money

Nice little hideaway in North Miami. Authentic Ethiopian cuisine. Meals were served in a communal plate and our host guided us on how to eat with Injera bread. And as is customary, one must only use one’s right hand to dig in ?. Great place. We will go again ❤️?

The food is great, nice spices, very filling dishes. The service is poor. One cup of water and once our order was dropped off we never got service again... No water, no soda, no injera... Other larger groups got service but they seem to have forgotten us until it was time to pay

Good portion way too small for the price. Also, it didn’t taste good. I had gotten the platter.

First time eating Ethiopian Food and we Loved it!!! The flavors were delicious, and not too spicy. We got the platter for two and it was plenty big enough! We still left some over and we did start with an appetizer. Not sure what the name of the cuisine but the meat inside was again SO flavorful. Our waitress was well educated on the culture and I am the kind of person who LOVES to ask questions. She was polite and kind while answering each one. . I really appreciated that they even added some fun facts about Ethiopia in the beginning of their menu! Food and Service 10/10. TOTALLY come here and we will be back once we are over in Miami again.

Had a delicious late lunch at Awash today. Leah provided fantastic service and the best recommendations. The food is so flavorful. Get the lamb tips and skip the silverware. Thanks for a great first experience with Ethiopian cuisine (and wine)!

Been coming here for years and we never get tired of it. The Taste of Awash with extra special Tibs(cubed steak in garlic sauce ) is our Goto here. The Coffee alone would be enough to give it 5 stars but overall I give this place is 6 stars out of 5. It’s that good! Worth the drive if you’re out of town.Vegetarian options: Taste of Awash Vegetarian.

One of our favs. If you are used to spicy or authentic Ethiopian, request it. Otherwise, the owners toned down the spice due to the majority of its Miami patrons not liking it authentic. Sorry Miami, but you can only take some heat??
