“The food was amazing! My mom and I popped in for my birthday as a ladies brunch and it was the perfect fusion menu. My mom got the fried fish and grits and I got the wafflette. The portions are generous. We shared and had leftovers.
Our server Naz was so nice and even gave me a special birthday treat!

“For a beachfront restaurant, the menu is extensive and some of the dishes are quite interesting, I was pleasantly surprised (even a little impressed). Especially the grilled Mediterranean sardines, which were quite good, and the small Greek salad was also fresh, but the vinaigrette would have been better. This is a very child-friendly place with great service and can accommodate a large group of adults and a group of children. Reasonable prices and right on the beach. The portions are generous“

“My experience at IKrave was top-notch from the moment we walked in until the time we left. Everything was great. I ordered the oxtails, macaroni and cheese, and collard greens, and they were cooked to perfection. The macaroni and cheese was rich and very cheesy, and the collard greens were seasoned just right—absolutely amazing!
The restaurant was very clean, and the customer service was remarkable. When I asked for a glass of water, the waitress kindly brought me a bottle of water, which I truly appreciated. She was very attentive throughout our visit.
One small thing I noticed was that the small oxtail dinner price on the menu listed $20, but the receipt showed $22, so the menu pricing may need to be updated. Aside from that, everything went extremely well.
I will definitely be coming back again. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

“Top notch dinner! Everything was perfect, from the food and the service to the live flute player, so cool. Our server gave excellent recommendations on entree and dessert options. Do yourself a favor and order the Cuban combination appetizer. One of the people we were dining with stated that this was going to be”end up being the best meal of their life” and we hadn't even finished the appetizer!“

“Today my sister wanted some soul food and heard so much great things about this restaurant and the owner and employees along with the good food they sell. I drove all the way from Miami Dade area of liberty city to try them out, and OMG the food was delicious and on point.
very flavorful and the turkey wings was cooked to perfection.
mac n cheese, collard greens, yellow rice. and let's not forget the Candi yams 👌 Lord knows I wanted to drive back up and purchase another 2 dinners. not too many knows how to cook because their young and lack the knowledge of how to cook a great tasty meal.

“Are you looking for a Haitian restaurant where you can finally sit, eat, and not leave with your clothes smelling like you work in the kitchen? La Gourmandize is where you should go. The atmosphere is welcoming, the location is meticulously clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I actually was able to conduct a business meeting there today and not worry about if my client’s clothing was going to smell like “épice” (Haitian spice). I ordered “fritay” (Hatitian sample platter). It had “akra” (fried-Haitian-finger-food), “bannann pézé” (fried plantains), “griot” (fried pork), and a side salad. You probably thought I forgot about the “Pikliz” (Haitian hot sauce)? It was some of the freshest servings of pikliz I’ve had. Although it was a fried food platter, the serving wasn’t drenched in oil. The Akra and bannann pézé were crispy, not overcooked, and well seasoned. The griot was well prepared, soft, and well spiced. I highly recommended this place if you’re in the mood for some authentic Haitian cuisine.“

“Been here quite a few times. My experience has been the same everytime. Consistent. We had the spinach dip and cheese bites for the appetizer. Very tasty. 10 out of 10. We ordered the salmon. My man rayed it an 8 out of 10. My daughter had the ribs. It was very tough unfortunately. Definitely not falling off the bone and she could barely pull it apart. She ended up using a knife to wade through the rib fibers. The pain killer was strong if you're into strong drinks. The star of the show as always is the biscuits. Yummy. 20 out of 10. I ordered extra. Overall good experience.“
