We tried the tasting menu recently, which has almost everything on the menu, and were blown away by the sauces in all the dishes. We also had to go back for more tostadas (three orders of it last night 😂）. It was special when the owner/chef talked about his food and made his recommendations. You can tell how much he passionate he is about the food. Great date location because it’s quiet and intimate!“

“I hesitated whether to write a review for this fabulous hidden gem, because I don't want the secret to be out. However I can't be selfish and I must give credit where it's due. I've been to Klandestino Lounge a couple of times, and each time has been amazingly fun and at the same time chill. I love that they have live music on the weekends, and that they specialize in Latin/Argentinian rock. It is a small space so it is highly recommended you make a reservation in advance. Note: $15 at the door per person goes to pay the musicians, let's not be stingy and support small businesses as much as possible!! I hope Klandestino Lounge is here to stay for many years!! Very hard to find a cool, chic and intimate bar like that!!“

The restaurant is open, (little birdies flying in and out); seating inside and out. You could easily eat every meal here and never fet the same thing. “We had a wonderful experience at Madrid Tapas y Vinos. The service was amazing! We had a variety of tapas and the portions were very generous! Everything was delicious. We ordered the garbanzos with chorizo, patatas bravas, manchego cheese platter, the grilled steak with chimichurri sauce and the prawns with salt. The food was amazing! As an added bonus, we were treated to a flamenco show which was awesome!!“

“Yesterday, my daughter and I went to Julia & Henry Eatery for the first time and decided to try JWong, a Peruvian seafood restaurant. They have an inviting display of seafood with veggies, so we decided to make it our lunch spot. The ambiance is casual and inviting.

We ordered at the counter and found seating right across from JWong. We didn't have to wait very long. We made it simple by ordering the Ceviche Lunch Special for both of us. It tasted good, and the price was right for $14.99!

The employees were welcoming and efficient. The service was good and they brought our orders to us. We plan to go back again soon.“

“This bar/ lounge is located on the bottom floor of the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel Miami Airport and Convention Center. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for an appetizer and refreshing beverage. While the price seemed high, we ordered the chips and guacamole, and we found it to be well worth the price. The guacamole was some of the best we've had, and it was a good portion for two people to share. We enjoyed watching the iguanas through the window that overlooks the hotel's pool area. The bar lounge area is open to the rest of the hotel, but it was relatively quiet and relaxing considering that.“

“During my last night in Miami before heading home from vacation, I was looking for a rooftop bar to relax and enjoy the evening. After a little searching, I came across Elevar Wynwood and I’m glad I did.

One of the first things I appreciated was finding parking right out front. The rooftop sits atop the AC Hotel Miami Wynwood and offers a spacious, clean, and well lit atmosphere. The views are decent and the overall setup is impressive. There are plenty of tables, comfortable lounge areas, a full bar, a grill, cabanas, a pool, and even additional lounge space to spread out and relax.

What surprised me most was that it was not overly busy for a Saturday night, which made for a more laid back experience.

My bartender, whose name I unfortunately forgot, was excellent. She was sweet, personable, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout the evening.

We only stopped in for drinks. I ordered the Bourbon Night, made with Bulleit Bourbon, raspberry, peach, orange bitters, and rosemary. It was flavorful, balanced, and definitely had a solid bourbon kick. My friend ordered the Paloma, which comes with tequila, grapefruit, lime, and grapefruit soda. He later switched to a vodka version and enjoyed that one even more.

Overall, we had a great time. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was excellent, and the venue offers much more than just drinks. If you are looking for a rooftop spot in Wynwood that is comfortable, clean, and not overly crowded, this is worth checking out. I would absolutely come back, and after seeing the property, I would even consider staying at the hotel on a future trip.“
