I love a good paella. A Latino friend kept telling me I have to try the paella marinara at Casa Juancho....he said it is the best in Miami... and another friend of his agreed. so I had to try it. I live about 40 minutes away and my brother is a paraplegic and can’t travel, so I ordered takeout, which they said would take about 40 minutes to prepare. This is one of the best Spanish restaurants in Miami. Fantastic food is served here. For appetizers the hand carved acorn fed 100% Iberian ham is phenomenal. The assortment of delicious cheeses is not to be missed. For entrees the black grouper filet, paella marinera, lobster Thermador and Myer natural Angus bone-in Ribeye are outstanding. We went there because I wanted to try Iberian ham. The menu has 6 selections and I was unsure what to try. I asked the manager for his recommendation. Like a good sommelier, he did not try to steer me to the most expensive. Instead, we brought me a sample of the 2 best. After sampling, I chose the Jamon de Bellota (see pic).
