When I visit FL it's a must that I get a key lime!I went to Publix to get my fix and was ABSOLUTELY let down! I read about Fookem's and we made the drive to their stand. It was absolutely worth it. The texture and flavor delivered and the price wasn't bad for two mini pies! If you're a key lime fan, give them a tryParking: Be warned there is no insight parking and his stand is on a somewhat busy road. Park ahead of time and walk up to buy
Small setup. Drive up and pick up the classic and the flavor of the day. Classic key lime was a winner - more tart and sour than most others in Miami, giving it a good flavor balance. Guava was also really good but not really the same dessert. Was hoping it would be more guava-lime but was more like a guava cheesecake. Would recommend highly

One thing I wanted to do while I was in South Florida is try the Keylime pie. I finally found what was supposed to be one of the best ones around. I was not disappointed. This is definitely above and beyond the best I’ve ever had!!!!! Now if I can figure out how to get it shipped to Oklahoma so I can have more:)
