I'm gonna go against the grain here and say that this location is my favorite over the OG on 120th. It's possible people have not yet figured out this second location exists. This restaurant is not as crowded, and service is much better, probably because of the former. Regardless, both of them are great. Now, for the good stuff. I absolutely love mofongo with all my heart, and Isla del Encanto delivers every.single.time. I always order Mofongo with the Salsa Criolla and Shrimp....read full review

Food was good. Nice flavor. But service was alrighty, took long to refill water. And they didn't have limber or veggie pastelon. That's what my son wanted to get so he was disappointed.

The food was excellent. We carried out but the resteraunt was very nice and clean. The young man who helped us was very thoughtful and served us ice water while we waited. He also included sauces and silverware. Also a good value for the money.
