When you think of La Carreta you think of a Cuba institution. I hadn’t been there in a while because my last experience wasn’t that great. I should have stayed away. This place is living on its past reputation, but now it’s mediocre at best. For openers you are greeted by waitresses that appear annoyed that you are bothering them from their chat. Our waitress just dropped the menus on our table without even making eye contact. She later appeared ready to take our order....
I want to leave here my review, due the excellent service of Nora, she is very nice ,she served to us more than I expected very nice experience. The food was good, but the services was even better thanks to Nora.
La carreta has been a staple of Latin culture for over 50 years. Their entrees have an authentic Cuban flavor. The restaurant is clean. The staff is friendly and professional. The prices are extremely reasonable and the portions are plentiful. ?
