The hospitality of the owners were awesome. The ambience of the music playing while we ate out food was on point. The Turkey wings, oxtails was perfect with the rice. The side were greens, yams, green beans macaroni and cheese. I can tell the seasoning was different from Texas and blended just right. Can you say FULL. thanks for welcoming Texas to Miami with a delicious meal
Tried Mattie’s based on a suggestion from Caresha aka Yung Miami. The building is bare bones and I wouldn’t eat inside, however it did not appear dirty. Upon ordering the cashier who was nice and professional would not let me use a gift card to pay for my items. When I attempted to use my Apple wallet she asked me to look at my transaction history. Visiting Miami and wanted soul food and came Across them on door dash. They never confirmed my order so I was going to cancel my order but ended up just waiting , so glad I did!! I ordered the fried ribs beans and greens which also came with yellow rice. Everything was soooo good. Nothing was over or under seasoned it was just right. The beans were super sweet. Definitely will be coming back !!
