My wife and I are visiting Miami for our Anniversary. We got in today and stayed at the Grand Doubletree Hotel Biscayne Bay. First off, I have to send some credit to Juan, who greeted us at our taxi when we pulled up. Without a word, he so politely and quickly took our luggage, directed us inside and walked us to our room. What a treat!!! Had Wedge Salad and a Skirt Steak!!! Wedge had well balanced proportions of fresh bacon and cherry/roma(?)and blue cheese chunks in hardy dressing. The Skirt Steak was served on heavy sizzling iron platter with butter and rosemary slathered over perfectly cook’s beautiful rectangular slab of melt in your mouth meat!!! Primo's Italian Restaurant & Lounge in Miami serves real Italian cuisine. The food is delicious across the board, from the calamari, salads, fries to the burger, and everything is flavorful and well done. The Seafood Risotto is incredible, and the salad with skirt steak is delicious. The bacon, egg and tomato croissant is the best ever eaten, with amazing presentation. The pizza is worth traveling for. The wine selection is great and pairs perfectly with the meal. The service is exceptional, with friendly and kind staff. Chef Ugo, directly from Naples, delights guests with his dishes and fulfills every wish. The waitress and bartender Ilaria provides the warmest hospitality. Located conveniently in the same building, it has both a sit-down restaurant and a café setup. Highly recommended whether staying nearby or just in the area.
