Was looking for a Birthday cake last minute and it was already 4:45pm. Most places were closed other than your grocery stores. I called and they were open until 6pm. They specialize in rum cakes so I headed there ASAP because you can never go wrong with rum cake. I've eaten other big chain rum cakes and yes they are pretty good but Rays was off the chain as "they" say. It's a little store right off the palmetto east. It was clean and the service was great. Honestly, the cake itself would 5 stars, but I’ve had something that came and started calling since Friday because I needed that cake for Monday, but since they close Monday I was trying to call to make payment over the phone because I’m arriving to Miami on Monday, so I wasn’t able to go over the place to place the order. The machine keeps answering the phone. Best cake ever but not as much convenient. They need to do better. And honestly I’ll always buy cake from them...read full review

Ever since I was introduced to Ray's, I've been going to them every-time I have a sweet tooth or would order a cake for someone's birthday/event. Very nice staff and the service is always great! If you're a fan of Rum raisin, you'll definitely have to try their rum cake... it is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! 10/10 I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND
