Barefoot's Beachside Bar & Grill

Had some lunch on the patio. Gorgeous views. Friendly and helpful staff. The food was good, I just personally loathe having the tails left on my shrimp ? This is not a deal breaker and I'll deal with it. Drink prices, but no higher than everywhere else. Will see ya again next time

Mixed drinks are small, weak, and overpriced. I would say there was zero to very little alcohol in the margarita for $17. Would suggest a nearby bar for your beverages, not here.

We came here 5 years ago and absolutely loved it. We came here in September of 2024 and what a change… the waiter barely checked up on us, we got the shrimp wrap and it had about 4 shrimp in it. We ordered two more drinks and we sat at the bar and the bartender made sure to tell us that she could not help us but only our waiter…. The tip was also included in your bill, you do not have an option to tip what you would like. Maybe that’s why the waiter doesn’t care so much ?

It took about 20 minutes before the server even came to us. The nachos had hardly any meat on them. Mostly lettuce. The fish tacos were disgusting. The chicken in The chicken Caesar salad was so dry I couldn’t finish it.

I've been here several times and must say that the only thing worth ordering here is their burgers. They are pretty good. I wanted to get the shrimp tacos but they no longer serve them. Therefore, I tried the fish(Mahi)tacos. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! They gave 3 small strips, and I mean small, dried fish. It came with lettuce, and fries. They gave me so much lettuce and fries, you would have thought I was making fries and lettuce tacos. You could barely taste . The fish was so dry, I couldn't eat it. All this for $25. Do yourself a favor and order you a burger or go inside the hotel to Sandcastle's Restaurant and Lounge, and order you some wings. You can't go wrong with those two. The wings are delicious as well. You do get a great beach view at Barefoot's.

I’ve been coming to this resort for years and this beachside bar has gone miles downhill. We waited about 7 minutes to even be greeted with a lot of open tables already, but that really wasn’t the main problem. We ordered two traditional margaritas and were expected to get carded just because we’re on the younger side. We weren’t asked for our ID’s, but upon receiving our drinks they tasted like lime. Straight up lime. Usually with blended drinks you can tell the tequila sits on the top because alcohol doesn’t freeze but this was not the case. Upon asking our server we were told there’s definitely alcohol in it even if it doesn’t taste like it and we just took their word for it. It just tasted exactly like the ones we received the other night when we asked for virgins instead. We got our checks before we were really done eating, but there wasn’t a problem with that because then we could just get up and leave while we were done. As we were signing the check, our food was cleared and I hadn’t even noticed in time to stop our server to state that we weren’t even done eating and by the time I noticed there was trash all over the plates. Kind of infuriating being hungry after a long day at the beach. At that point, we just wanted to get out of there. We ended up walking down to the other bar that was affiliated to get another frozen drink just to SEE if it tasted like alcohol and who would’ve thought. It tasted like tequila. If you’re staying at the hilton, either bring your own food and drinks or take the shuttle to baytown wharf because this is NOT the place to get food or service for for the price. A nearly $90 bill later and we had two margaritas that tasted like their virgins and two entrees that we didn’t even get to completely finish. Extremely disappointing.

If you’re not enjoying the fine dining at Segar’s, this is absolutely the only enjoyable place to eat in this hotel. The service is friendly and fast. The food is always yum! I don’t know how they pull it off, but I’ve had meals at every single place in this hotel and it’s like Barefoot’s has a secret connection to the best kitchen staff or some magician that makes this place operate at its best. We’ve sat at their tables for meals and ordered food poolside or to take to the beach and it’s like they new what I was ordering before I did because all of a sudden the food is right in front of you. Oh! And the bartender always makes the drinks as they should be…nice and strong! 10 out of 10 recommend!

Nothing is good here.. food, server, price, & etc

My waiter 3 times in a row was Amr, & he was amazing! He was timely, super nice, helpful, and professional! He never made me feel rushed, & the food & drinks he brought were always delicious! Also, he always made sure his guests were seated in the shade if they preferred and would even move tables for guests to have shaded spots!

The food was really good and it was probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, but 19$ plus tax for a burger and fries ( drinks not included ) is insane! Also the salsa is really spicy so be wary if you get that.

Only nice thing about this place is the view and you can see that without coming to this terrible business. Food was all cold, service was terrible and it wasn't as busy as you would imagine a tourist trap to be. Found a 3 or 4 inch hair in my crab dip, let the waiter know and he said nothing except "what do you want to do". i reodered the dish because i was starving and hadnt ate all day. i work in a restaurant and we would never charge someone for their meal after finding a hair in their food even if they reordered. Disappointing and expensive for nothing.

I love the outside setting that it offers. The server was kind and made every effort to attend to our needs. I ordered a burger, which was very tasty. I also drank a chocolate martini, which was yummy. My friend also had a burger as well. We enjoyed the ambiance of being so close to the beach and the fresh air.

Nice cafe near the pool. Does have the beach and club vibes. The price is not high and is not low. Average price. Service is good. You have the option either to pay by card or to pay later by providing your room number, name and signature. They have alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks which os great. Clean and nice service. Nachos portion is large, simply two or three people can share it together.
