Pizza by the Sea at Market Shops of Sandestin

This place sucks. Understaffed. Overworked. Took 2 hours for 2 pizzas that were cold when we got them. Don’t try to eat there either the dine in was a huge issue too. Go somewhere else, it’s run by children.

As a local pizza connoisseur, Pizza by the Sea is the best thin crust pizza on the Emerald Coast. Even though they stay busy with to-go orders, we never have to wait long for piping hot pizza right out of the oven. Love love love this place for my pizza fix. At Pizza by the Sea, they don’t hire cooks, they hire artists.

Had a take out order and the prices didn’t match the menu they have on their website. I ordered 2 pizzas and it was $69, no drinks, no sides, just 2 pizzas… to top it off. I did add a small tip, but when I saw my receipt, there was already a tip on there. It was an automatic tip. I don’t appreciate a tip being added and not being told. Had they told me then it wouldn’t have been a problem, but they didn’t tell me. I won’t be going back.

There was nothing about the white veggie pizza I didn’t like! The gentleman at the counter was so genuinely sweet and kind. If I’m ever down here from WV again, I’ll be sure to visit! Thank you so much!!

Not an inexpensive pizza restaurant! For the prices they charge you actually get less quality than Domino's. Jalapeños were from a jar along with the garlic. Very disappointing! Pizza was not delicious!

Pizza by the Sea is an absolute delight! The pizza is outstanding, with a variety of creative toppings and a perfect, crispy crust. What really sets this place apart, though, is the incredible staff—they’re friendly, attentive, and always ready to make great recommendations. The cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for a casual meal. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone craving delicious pizza and excellent service!

This place is perfect for pizza if you’re on vacay or a local. We love grabbing pies from this spot when staying at the family home. The crust is AMAZING. Thin, yet still an amazing mix of crisp and doughy. When my picky child asks for more, you know us good!
