Pizza by the Sea at Market Shops of Sandestin

Had lunch and we ordered the Quadruple Bypass. I was expecting a lot of toppings but I was disappointed, very sparse. The crust was very chewy.

We had Pizza by the Sea delivered by Door Dash after a long day at the beach and it was hands down the best pizza we have all ever had. If you’re a pizza lover this would be an amazing place to check out!!!

Visiting Destin for the weekend and decided to give this place a try. The food is fine. It’s pizza! Can’t go wrong with it.

That being said, the place is dirty. The floor. The booths. Crumbs everywhere. Two counter employees sitting around and nothing is wiped down or swept. The bathroom was also disgusting dirty. Trash in the corner. Sink was grimy. Toilet was ring stained and the floor along with the rest of the restaurant looked as if it hadn’t been mopped in a while. It’s clear to me the cleanliness standards are low. My seat was facing the kitchen and the staff making the food weren’t wearing gloves to make the pizzas.

Atmosphere and service? Eh. Weren’t greeted when we walked in. Not rude, but didn’t go out of their way to be friendly either. They did have a kids books display my daughters enjoyed and it kept them entertained while we waited for food.

Ella was the best she always has a smile on her face and her positive energy. And the food was very good. Definitely coming back I hope to see Ella again and her smile again. Definitely coming back to being friends and family.

Came in late after a terrible storm, Tyler was working the counter and he was absolutely amazing!!! Attitude, work ethic and ability to take orders and control the environment was outstanding!!!!
