Wonderful experience!!! Our servers were helpful in guiding our food choices, very personable and attentive throughout the entire meal. French onion soup, lobster bisque and a wedge salad for our first course. Sea bass, Filet mignon and a chef special of two filets with truffles (mushrooms) were our entree choices. Portions and flavor were 5/5. The nicest surprise was the piano player who played non-stop for the two and a half hours we were there. Expensive but, worth every penny!
So, $600 for four people is not an issue for a very fine dining restaurant. But- for this place i do not believe it is worth that. At all. I wasnt going to leave a bad review, BUT my girlfriend and I paid our food items for the bill seperate from the group. We recevied the check at $280. No problem. I give my card, and comes back the receipt. I was charged $315 on my card unknowingly. I dont like that this was not made aware and no one told me. I had to ask why this happened, and i was informed that its because the dessert wasnt added... That is not okay especially when a bill is that much. I would not spend almost $400 (after tip) for two people here. Word to the manager- if you forget to put something on the bill or change the price AFTER the card is put down, say something. This place used to be my favorite place growing up, but quality and service has had a decline. Mediocre compared to what it used to be. (They give you one slice of bread per person)
My husband and I took my mom and dad to celebrate my dad's 75th birthday. The staff was so professional and welcoming from the moment we were seated. Our appetizers, main course, sides, and dessert were all delicious. We had steaks, lobster, scallops, the lobster special appetizer, the pork belly appetizer, mushrooms, twice-baked potato, and creamed spinach for sides, and the bananas foster and chocolate souffle for dessert. The sides are more than enough to share. From start to finish, everything was so flavorful. The portions were perfect. My husband and I have gone for our 19th and 22nd anniversaries and will return.
Food and drinks were delicious! We had scallops and the bone in ribeye. Servers were knowledgeable of menu and very accommodating to any request.
Overall a very good dining experience. The service is absolutely top-notch! For our meal, the fois gras was excellent as was the salads and soups we selected. Entrees were just so-so in that they were just ok, not quite up to the standard we would have expected for the price point. Both family-style sides ordered, which was mashed potatoes and onion rings were bland and lacked seasoning. Enjoyed our dinning experience and will give this place another go in the future.
This restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience, highlighted by its impeccable service and delicious cuisine.
Paul is amazing host. Food off the charts. Wine selection best on the coast. Bobby on piano is a taste of heaven .
probably our best meal in the Sandestin area. The sauteed Dover sole filetted tableside was amazing.
What a great atmosphere! The lobster bisque & French onion soups were great. We both had steaks which were perfect. The creamed corn is an absolute must! Wine list was extensive and the piano play topped it off. We will definitely return!!!
The staff was absolutely amazing. Food was really good but I expected it to be better because of the 400.00 bill. We got 2 steaks and 3 sides and 2 drinks. The food was really good but I feel like it could have been better for 400.00. The twice baked potato I thought was a little dry. The corn was amazing though. Steak was good but nothing like crazy. But they did give us dessert for free for our anniversary

We have been to Seagars many times and always enjoyed it but dinner yesterday was the best experience we ever had there. From the first glass of wine to the last spoon of bananas foster this restaurant was firing on all cylinders .
Food = steak lobster fish and salads that were serve were exceptional not to mention the waiters fantastic job with the table side prep of our salad and dessert. We were looking for a specific bottle of wine that was not something that they had but a similar replacement was recommended by our server Ted that was excellent. Atmosphere as always was great and the chocolate soufflé dessert that was brought to the table as a gift for our birthday individual was appreciated and enjoyed by all. I could go on but if you’ve never been you owe it to yourself to go and enjoy the hands down one of the best restaurants in Florida!
Dietary restrictions: We had a gluten intolerance issue for someone in our party that was acknowledged and accommodated

Allow me to begin this review by stating that in absolutely no way is this a reflection on the Seagar's wait staff or the Hilton Sandestin Resort. Ya'll are awesome and thank you so much for the tremendous service and hospitality. It is my understanding, however, that Seagar's is a third party vendor that conducts business on Hilton grounds. With that said, a Bandana is not a hat. Although it can be worn as a hat, a Bandana is a handkerchief and not a hat. I have not been so disrespected in quite a while as much as when the current manager of Seagar's so rudely FORCED me to remove the Bandana I wore to a 5:30pm dinner on 10/3/24, that, I might add was clearly wrapped around my forehead. Again, not being worn as a hat. Furthermore, the Bandana I personally designed and wore at the very same establishment for the past two years with zero issues is a part of my identity. I highly doubt that if someone like Ludacris or the late and great Tupac Shakur walked in wearing his infamous backwards wrapped Bandana, would be told to remove it. What if Paris Hilton came in wearing a Bandana? Think she'd be told to take it off?? HA!! Not a chance. I was so taken back by this gross gesture that no matter how good their food may be, I will never step foot into Seagar's again. Bet.
You should be ashamed of yourselves.
BTW: still tipped 22%
