Slick Lips Seafood & Oyster House

Wasn't to sure about that name but food was really good. Great drinks and a attentive staff. It's in the Marina so when you go to the gate just ask for a marina pass. Parking is free in a covered garage. Very nice and easy on the pocket book.

We stopped at Slick Lips at the Village of Baytowne Wharf for lunch and had a great experience. It’s a cute little spot with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Our server was excellent,unfortunately we missed her name but she was wonderful,and the food was great. We ordered the chicken Caesar salad, fried shrimp, and fish tacos, and everything was delicious. Overall,we would definitely visit again!If your in town they do have reward winning seafood gumbo aswell just saying 😁

What a restaurant with potential….affluent area with supporting fun places. It has all the look and menu of a fantastic place, but it fails miserably. I have a family of 5, and it costed us approximately $250 to discover that we will never return. The server was nice, but wildly under-trained. The second floor, where we dined, looks like an incomplete construction project or left overs from a former failed establishment. The only joy of our meal was that my children liked the French fries. I ordered one of the featured dishes, a pasta with crawfish and Andouille sausage. There was so much garlic and floating oil that it was hard to eat. Heads up, until they fix a lot of things, this is a SOLID NO!!! Sorry to be tough, but wish someone had saved us the bad experience. 😞

Abysmal service and hostile management—avoid this place. Our party of five sat on the upper outdoor balcony and was completely abandoned. We were never given silverware and eventually had to go inside to fetch it ourselves. After being ignored for the rest of the meal, we asked for our check multiple times. Our server never returned, forcing us to go downstairs to find her. When we finally located the server and the manager, the manager became incredibly defensive and aggressive. He got directly in my face to argue and blamed the delay on a POS system error. However, the moment I pressed him to just print the bill, he produced it instantly, proving his excuse was a lie. Poor service is one thing, but aggressive confrontation and dishonesty from management are completely unacceptable. We will not be back.

The front host is really welcoming we loved her accent. Her name was daysha I think it is spelt, lovely attitude. I will be back just to have a chat with her before my meal. Excellent customer service from a host as a front line. Face of the business keep it up and keep HER !!!

Based on the rave reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a try. Our family of four was staying at the Sandestin Resort and chose to walk in for dinner.

The hostess informed us that there were no tables available inside, so she added us to the waitlist and called about 30 minutes later when a table became available. When we returned, I checked in and then noticed another hostess seating three other groups ahead of us. The hostess who had originally taken our name exchanged a few words with the other hostess and then went inside.

After waiting another 10 minutes without being called, I checked with the second hostess. She told me there were no tables available. I reminded her that we had received a call saying our table was ready and asked why other groups had been seated before us. She explained that those parties had reservations and that we would need to continue waiting until another table opened up.

Fortunately, there were several other restaurants nearby, so we chose to dine elsewhere. While the food may be excellent, the seating and waitlist process clearly needs improvement. Calling guests back only to have them wait again while other parties are seated ahead of them creates a frustrating first impression.

This was one of the best places we’ve had during our stay at Miramar beach! We had Crab crusted grouper, hush puppies, Cajun pasta, the lobster roll and calamari appetizer was excellent. After dinner, we walked around the wharf.

We came in with a wedding party of 22 people and quickly realized we didn’t have enough space to sit together. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, Alana went above and beyond to make it happen for us. She made sure our entire group was comfortable and taken care of from start to finish.

The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the service was even better. Alana checked on us throughout our visit and made us feel welcome the whole time. We truly appreciated all of her hard work and positive attitude.

Amazing service, food was amazing. First time here, and the oysters were AMAZING!!!! Our server Lauren was top tier service. If you come, please ask for her to serve you! Would recommend coming, if I could do 10 stars i would! Will definitely be back and ask for Lauren!!
