Great fish!
Came here while in town for Memorial Fay weekend. We were greeted promptly upon arrival and immediately seated. We sat upstairs on the outside balcony and this was a great spot to people watch.
Our server was nice and made sure we had what we needed.
I ordered the tuna dip appetizer which was really good and the warm chips made it better. My entrée was a fried Mahi Mahi sandwich which was also good. The fries were also a favorite.
All in all, I'd come back the next time I'm in Destin.
I rarely write reviews, but the food, service, and management were so great at Slick Lips last night that I really feel like I need to! We were a large-ish party (7) and they got us a table super quickly—waitress was attentive despite the place being super busy. The smoked cheddar bacon bombs were top notch, and so was the rest of our food — my husband and I got the fish tacos (blackened) and shrimp & grits. Even the fries were excellent. I’m assuming my kiddo’s shrimp basket was good because he can be picky, and he practically inhaled it. 😂 Our friends we were dining with enjoyed their food too. The people working there were so sweet to bring us a bandage too when one of the kiddos scratched a scab from a scrape they’d gotten earlier in the day. We will definitely be back. Thank you! ❤️
We had the best meal of the week here! Highly recommend!
Wow! Stopped on for a quick appetizer and drink. Was greeted at the door by friendly staff. Henry took great care of me at the bar. BBQ shrimp was just the twist I was looking for as well as the vinegrette dressing the bartender recommended. Check it out!
Service was great, food was delicious, got the grouper blackened with a habanero aioli sauce that is to die for!!!
Came here to eat dinner. Dinner was really good. Janet was our server and made the who night. Gave us a detailed explanation of the menu and helped with one of our party with her food gluten allergy.
I would come back and eat here again. Sorry no veterans discount but that is common here at the Baytowne Wharf.
The BEST shrimp tacos around!! 🌮
The food was good for the price. Nothing inspired oysters sprinkled with seasoning and cheese. Tasted fresh but way too salty. The fries were good. Fish was delicious. My meatloaf was hard and dry. The servers were quick and friendly and very busy. Looks like two for the entire restaurant.
Excellent Food ! The service was outstanding!!!!
I am picky eater ! The fried green tomatoes were delicious! The Red snapper so fresh !!
Definitely come here if you are in Sandestin !!!!

If you’ve never had good seafood, this may taste like 4 star seafood to you. The food all tastes and looks frozen. The shrimp on the shrimp tacos were not even seasoned. The Alfredo also lacked seasoning while the Cajun pasta was way overly seasoned. The only thing we had that tasted decent was the crab claws. Save your money. The staff were incredibly sweet which was the only reason the dining experience wasn’t terrible.
Took 15 minutes to get water, 45 minutes to get a soup and salad and food came after about an hour. Many of the wait staff didn’t seem busy. Don’t sit upstairs if you want decent service.
Quiet establishment tucked inside a private community that allows outsiders to patron their shops...for a fee. There will be an additional fee charged to every check to cover you entering, so this is your warning. Chargrilled Oysters were good but did require hot sauce to add flavor. Gumbo on the Happy Hour menu was top-notch per my sister's standards! BBQ shrimp were sooo good, but on the Happy Hour menu you only get a few so be warned. Drinks!!! Enough said our bartender Julia had a wonderful spirit and knew how to pour a drink.
Spent over $100 dollars for a below average meal and would have saved a whole lot if we had only gone to Chick- fil- A. Somebody in the kitchen can’t cook.
We enjoyed the oysters. The food was good, I just wanted more of it. I needed a large size portion of snapper. Everything was seasoned well. The customer service was great. We sat outside and enjoyed the scenery and the people walking by. This is definitely a nice place to come to if you're in Destin.
