“My husband and I were anxiously waiting for kokos to open. Superb atmosphere, very attentive waitress and great music while having dinner. The shrimp tostones and cod croquetes . Pleasant place to mingle . Large tv's to watch your favorite games. Just plain nice . There's also seating outside with tv's. I will definitely be back.“

Come see her!! my first time coming, and I was looking for a restaurant that was similar to the vibe that you get in New York City and let me tell you you cannot be Dominican come to Miami and not come to Yarumba. If you’re not the Dominican, please come taste our wonderful, diverse flavorful cuisine at this GEM OF A place. “So I only ordered from uber eats because of a promotion ... but I was so blown away. Like blown away. I ordered a rib soup because I've been sick and it was honestly one of the best soups I've ever had. Definitely the best soup from a restaurant and I am not a soup person. I lso ordered mangu con 4 golpes because I can't see it on a menu and not order it. When I say this is the creaminess mangu I've ever had I'm not even joking. Apologies to every dominican family member that's ever cooked for me and to myself. I have never had mangu this creamy. The onions were onioning. Even the salami and salchichon were good no gross hard bits or weird after taste. I got my husband the chicken milanesa with moros. He hates chicken but it was milanesa so I thought I'd give it a try. This man ate the whole thing. I am so impressed and so glad I found it. I just wish I had found it sooner. I can't speak to the actual service or atmosphere since we haven't bene there yet but I can't wait to go now. I will say I ordered it delivered to Aventura and when I got it everything was still warm fresh and delicious.“

“I tried Con Hambre in Hollywood and it honestly just felt good being there. The place is really clean — not just tidy, but actually well kept — which always matters to me when I’m eating somewhere new.

The customer service was great. Everyone was welcoming, and Madilenne especially stood out. She was so friendly and kind, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the people who walk in. It didn’t feel transactional — it felt personal.

I had the sancocho and mofongo. The sancocho tasted like real Dominican comfort food — rich broth, soft viandas, tender meat, and that deep flavor that reminds you of home. The mofongo was soft, garlicky, and not dry at all — just made right.

It’s hard to find Dominican food that actually tastes authentic, and this place really delivers. I left full, happy, and already thinking about going back.“

“I went here recently and now it’s my new Dominican spot to eat. The service was good and the food came out fast,hot and fresh. I came with my picky little brother who ate his whole meal (Mangu con los tres golpe and a side of savory shrimp). I ordered myself fried plantains with fried fish and also a mangu con los tres golpe. It was so good and the seasoning was perfect. The food wasn’t greasy. The portions were very generous which a lot of places have that problem ,but this restaurant doesn’t. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast,lunch,and even dinner:)

“Honestly we had no idea what to expect. Although we don’t speak Spanish and our waitress spoke minimal English we were able to order. I had never had Mafungo. It was tasty but a little dry. The shrimp were outstanding as were the yucca fries. We also had enchilado chicken with rice and beans. The chicken was fantastic and bursting with flavor. Very glad we stopped in the little place.“
