Pollo Tipico Reviews
First time here in the food is fire. Everything was on point. Food was favorable. Very delicious. You know me I'm picky as heck. I give them a big huge 10xxxx
Absolutely delicious Dominican food. Made fresh every day, and the service is great too. But the chicharrones and sancocho are my family’s favorite dishes! You can’t go wrong eating there anytime of the week.
Chicken didn't meet my expectations still decent.

Pollo Tipico is a longstanding restaurant that offers excellent Dominican food in a relaxed atmosphere. The friendly staff provides great service, even in the diner area. The Mondongo dish is a must-try, tasting homemade with generous portions. Customers often praise the chicharrón and carne frita, describing them as a must and very tasty. The tostones are also considered delicious. While the pika pollo does not taste typically Dominican, many find the food flavorful and authentic. Prices have increased recently, especially for a simple half chicken meal with sides, fried pork belly, and drinks, which can be quite expensive. The restaurant is known for its consistent and delicious oxtail and chicharróns, which many customers highly recommend for their crispy and crunchy texture. The food is very tasty, with many customers praising dishes like stewed beans and empanadas. The staff makes guests feel like family, often going above and beyond to ensure a positive experience. The bathrooms are very clean, and service is generally very nice. Some recent reviews note issues with the quality of cooking oil, which have affected the taste of some meals. Despite this, Pollo Tipico remains a popular spot for traditional Dominican cuisine in a comfortable, family-friendly setting.
