Taqueria Los Jalapeños in Miramar is a wonderful little spot offering authentic and flavorful Mexican food in a relaxed setting. The atmosphere is clean and quiet with very nice wall paintings and classic Mexican décor, enhanced by pleasant outdoor seating. Service is consistently described as friendly, fast, and welcoming.
The food receives high praise for being delicious and of higher quality than competitors. Standout items include the amazing Birria tacos, delicious carne asada tacos and burrito, and perfectly cooked quesadillas dripping with cheesy goodness. The little bean soup served as an appetizer is frequently noted as sooo good. Other highlights are fresh guacamole, a tasty burrito, hominy soup, thick and rich queso with homemade chips, and juicy elotes. The mixed fajitas and steak tacos are also enjoyed. While generally excellent, a minor note is that the topping on the elote was found unnecessary. The restaurant provides a very good overall experience, making it a place customers definitely plan to return to regularly.
