I stopped by the Mount Dora market today, and European Breads had a wide variety of breads and other items for sale. I ended up getting the sundried tomato and herb bread. When I got home, I followed the heating instructions that came with it. 400° for 12-15 minutes. It tastes amazing! Crispy crust, moist inside, and absolutely bursting with flavor. I can't wait to try the other flavors! If you're in downtown Mount Dora, you have to give this place a try.

Seems that this is primarily a shop that just teams with co-ops to sell pretty mid quality bread and mark it up to a ridiculously high price point. You should be worried if a bakery selling sourdough can’t sell you / answer questions about their starter.

As Snowbirds we fell in love with European Breads last year. We were so disappointed when we returned last week to find the shop on old 441 was gone. We rediscovered it on Google yesterday and are overjoyed. Its now within walking distance to us. I don’t care where its baked the quality is there and fresh. I just hope the whole grain croissants haven’t all been sold before I get there this morning! They are a secret I guard.

Highly recommend! We visited from Sanford and absolutely loved our experience. The owners were so gracious, helpful, excited about their new business and eager to offer the best service possible. They certainly delivered. Each item we tried was delicious. Our favorites were the leek pastry and chocolate croissant but everything was divine.

I tried several different pastries and croissants from their stand at the Winter Garden Farmers Market.

Great breads that are baked elsewhere. 5 stars would require baked on site. Beware they close at 3!
