Lack of respect for their customers Their chair broke and I fell over into the plant pots and almost into the glass and they asked asked if i was okay but never followed up with checking on me or even sorry and have a drink on us Nothing This says a lot of the owner and how he and his help feels about customers So this was recommended be a long time business owner but I will never recommend or visit this restaurant again

The food at The Goblin is not great and certainly not worth the hype or price. The gratis Caesar salad (btw they don't mention that they upcharge two dollars for two anchovies) is borderline inedible with pre-fab croutons and drowning in dressing that is overwhelming in pungent bitter garlic. Palate killer. I was still tasting that garlic the next day. The overwhelming taste of our two entrees - fish and duck - was SALT. Lots and lots of salt. Luckily the portion size is pretty small. Like others, we were sat at a table for two by the door. Certainly nothing special even though I made the reservation months in advance to celebrate a special occasion. Two entrees and two drinks cost a whopping $200. We have eaten dinner here before and also found the food disappointing and salty. Maybe lunch is a different experience with a different chef. But we probably won't give The Goblin a third try at these prices.

Mt. Dora’s best hidden gem! Amazing, just amazing. Eclectic, cozy, hidden in an alleyway and absolutely wonderful. The menu never disappoints. Austyn has been our server the last two times we have dined here and she is such an asset to this establishment. Best crab soup, best onion soup and the entree selections are perfection. We visit Mr, Dora twice a year and this restaurant is a must every time.

Just… wow! The Goblin Market is absolutely enchanting — if you haven’t been yet, you really should go. We went for an early dinner and it was already busy, so make sure to book a reservation. The staff was so warm and welcoming, and our server was fantastic — super knowledgeable and gave great recommendations while walking us through the menu. I’m already dreaming about that crab bisque… I’ll be back for that alone!

We have been looking for a place like this for a long time. The service was professional and so kind. Our waitress Sara was so knowledgeable. She gave great recommendations and spoke so highly of the ingredients used. It was a pleasure speaking with her and very impressed with the pride she had in working at the Gobblin Market. The food did not let us down. After eating at so many disappointing places this was a gem to find. You can tell from only being there once that they are consistent. We ordered the ciabatta bread platter to start. My husband had the bacon jam burger and I had the cashew chicken sandwich. The food was hot and everything was absolutely delicious. The way food should be made and served. For dessert we had the crèmé brulé with strawberries and whipped cream. Needless to say there was nothing left on the plate. We cannot wait to come back. Congratulations on such an amazing menu!!!! 👏

A friend took me to lunch here. I am not a foodie and was very intimidated by the menu. Our server, Izzy, was so helpful. She asked what I liked and created a sandwich that was perfect delicious!

Great atmosphere, great service, very good food. Be aware that this place is extremely expensive, overpriced even. There are items where there really is no excuse for the markup. Also, a place this expensive should automatically provide filtered or bottled water, and not the famously bitter and unpalatable tap water of Mt Dora.

This food was fantastic. The whole experience was over the top! Our server, Tony, was amazing. The Bacon Jam Burger was delicious and the fruit cup just made me smile. These guys know how to make you happy!

The inside of Goblin Market looks like something out of a movie! The ambiance is amazing, cozy, and unique. The food was absolutely delicious — overall a great experience and definitely worth visiting.

We had the crab bisque, ciabatto board, crab cakes, and filet and all of it was great. This a top tier restaurant all around from atmosphere to the attentive service. The food was around $30 to $70 per plate and worth it.

Came in recently to enjoy lunch with a friend and my infant son. We were promptly greeted at the front and only had to wait a few minutes to be seated. We had a stroller with us other wise we would have been immediately sat up stairs.

We started with some apps and drinks.

I had the Irish whiskey onion soup, my friend had the crab bisque and we split the ciabatta board, these were paired with the red red wine and my boyfriend’s back. Everything was delicious! Our server Victoria was kind, attentive, and patient while we picked out our mains. To be fair everything sounded appetizing so it was difficult to pick just one!

We landed on the toasted cheese and cashew chicken sandwich. Both very good and filling. We’ve made note to come back again and possibly try dinner.

Although this was a bit of a pricey lunch, the food, the service, and time was worth it. IMO
