cold bread, pasta was bland and swimming in grease. the salad was absolutely soaked in vinegar. no where near worth the amount of money spent. we both agreed olive garden would've been better

I tried this place on the food tour. The samples of the food we tried was really good. We started off with a Greek salad then a small pasta dish with vodka sauce. We also had a house white wine similar to a Chardonnay and a red I believe that was closer to a Cabernet.

Came for a birthday dinner while on a girls’ trip and could not have chosen a better spot! From the stunning water views to the live music and exceptional service, every detail was perfect. Dylan was our server, and I can honestly say I’ve never experienced better service at any restaurant. Coming from Miami, this place felt like a true breath of fresh air. And the food—absolutely delicious! The fresh bread with oil and balsamic was the perfect start, the Caesar salad was to die for, and the pasta was incredible. 10/10, we were amazed and will definitely be coming back!

We have been going to the restaurant for 7 yrs but last 8 months we stopped. The chicken piccata was like someone put a can of cream chicken soup over it with little lemon. The spaghetti was cooked to texture of mush. I had the tortellini Bolognese. It was tortellini with red meat sauce. I had their food hundreds of times but this is the worse. I’m sorry no return for us.

The floors were sticky on the entire dining room. There were only five tables sat and it was loud that you couldn't hear your tablemate. The server did not listen at all and disappeared for long periods. He never cleared the table, so we had bread plates, starter salad plates, empty glasses, and entree plates covering the table throughout our dining experience. My husband ordered veal with a lemon butter sauce and capers over linguine. It looked like mucus, honestly. He said it tasted good but looked unappealing. I got a chicken Ceasars salad. It was standard. Tasty, but the chicken was a little dry on its own. When it came time to pay, the server stared at you while he held the machine to pay.. an uncomfortable moment considering he was not good.

I still say this the best Italian food in Mt. Dora! The new chef is knocking it out of the park, this young guy truly cares about what comes out of his kitchen. The last chef, not so much. The one issue is when it is busy, the wait for the meal can be longer than it should…lack of kitchen help for the chef. Overall, if you haven’t been in for a meal in the last few months, give it a try!

The people were great, and my rating is not about them. They were all friendly and outgoing.

The calamari was ok, but the rest of the food was not what I expected.

My over all impression was not positive.

The meatball sub was, what felt like, a grocery store white loaf, cut in half with rather bland red sause and some ok meatballs.

That was the same for the rest of our party.

For the price, I would have expected better quality food.

Do not get the gyro it tastes like fast food. Very disappointing and over priced.
The waiter did not seem to enjoy his job.

Stay away from this place. Food was poorly done…not sure if the chef had an off day but every single item we ordered was bitter and tasteless. Ordered a medium rare stake and they gave me well done. The only good thing about this place was our waitress!

Long wait for food. Bolognese sauce tasted like meat sauce with milk added. Eggplant rollatini appetizer was burnt. The supposed ricotta filling was a sweetened white sauce with uncooked spinach inside. What a waste of $81! Cook must have wondered why so much food was returned.

We recently dined at this restaurant for the first time, and based on our personal experience, we won’t be returning or recommending it to our friends.

Wonderful experience!! We came in on Sunday afternoon and sat in the back because we have small children. Our server, Dylan, was literally the best server we have ever had. He went above and beyond for not only us, but most importantly our daughters. The food was incredible and atmosphere super cozy. We will definitely be back again!! Thank you!!!
